Defeat. We all had a feeling it would be coming. We just didn't think it would be like this.

The Dolphins fell into an early 17-0 hole in Buffalo and it seemed as if Dolphins fans were going to be in for yet another playoff blowout loss. Instead, the team turned it around and fought back, taking a lead in the third quarter and fighting until the very end in a tough, gritty 34-31 loss. The performance of the shorthanded Dolphins was admirable, but it was a tough pill to swallow as many of the little things that had cost the Dolphins in lower stakes situations throughout the regular season contributed to the team's playoff downfall.
