Today we have the pleasure to speak with Courage Molina, author, speaker and coach who helps women to build faith and develop habits to support them on the journey to greatness. As the Lead Pastor for Dose of Courage Community, a global online church for women she preaches and teaches the bible weekly. Through her online school Courage Molina University her courses teach women how to build routines, habits, and mindsets that will support them on their journey to greatness. Courage is also an author and the host of the award-winning podcast Dose of Courage. She is a wife and mother of 3 currently living in NC.

I am a former high school English teacher, enjoying the blessing (and utter craziness) of being a stay-at-home and homeschooling mom. My husband, Tim, is an Apache helicopter pilot in the Army. Tim and I met in high school English class and married after college. Our twelve years in the military have found us stationed at Ft. Rucker, AL; Ft. Hood, TX; Ft. Bliss, TX; West Point, NY; and Ft. Leavenworth, KS. Currently, we are stationed at Fort Bragg, NC. We have three children--a strong-willed and kind-hearted daughter named Adeline; our sweet adrenaline-seeker, Lincoln; and our joyful and humorous, Isla. With our transient lifestyle and all the unknowns that the Army hands us, our faith in Christ keeps us grounded and able to handle whatever comes our way, trusting in God's plan for our family.

We are kicking off our Faith & Marriage Series here on Hearts & Stripes podcast. Today we have the pleasure to speak with Beth RunkleI of Cru Military. She serves, alongside her husband, as the director of the Central Region of Cru Military. They are missionaries to the military.
In this episode we discuss:
- How crucial it is to have a growing relationship with the Lord to navigate the turbulent waters of military life.
- Beth’s desire to inspire military spouses to gain insight in how to better support their spouse's calling to serve in the military and embrace their mission as a joint calling to minister to those in their community as they move around and serve their nation.
- How to connect with and lead a Cru Military small group.
More on Beth:
Beth Runkle was married to her Air Force man during his 25 years of service which included 14 moves, 4 deployments, and 2 Command tours. For the past 4 years they worked with Cru Military as missionaries and now serve as the Central Region directors for the national team. She began a relationship with Jesus Christ a few years after marrying her military husband and says, “... my marriage was saved by us becoming believers”. During the first three years of marriage, Beth was an incredibly reluctant and bitter military wife. A relationship with Jesus dramatically transformed their marriage and taught them to continue to make deposits in their own marriage by leading others in military small group Bible studies wherever the assignment landed them. Beth has taught Bible study for 20 years and is completing a Master's in Theological Studies from Gateway Seminary.
