Reading The Night before Christmas, by CC Moore has become a Christmas tradition for so many folk.

Here, in our story, The Night Before Christ Was, it tells us, in the same familiar poetic way, of another Christmas Eve that played out so many years ago in a town called Bethlehem. The story in this book is about Someone Else that came into our world with a mission to give everyone the gift of His love and a better life. This story tries, in the same traditional rhyme and tempo, to capture those moments locked in time, as prophecy played out. A great addition to your Christmas family traditions.

Gotta get it! Gotta Read It! Gotta Love It!

T'was the night before Christ was
And all through the land
Not a creature was stirring,
Not even a lamb ...
Bethlehem's doors all were shut -
Inns were full
As Mary and Joseph
walked in from the hills .....

It's a Marvelous Book!

Kids book on why we need to dress warm in winter.

Listen to this cute story to little kids to help them dress warm when it's cold outside. There are cute little reasons in the book to help kids understand how to dress to stay warm and what might happen if they do not dress warm so they might get cold outside. It takes kids through a fun experience while the pictures tell a story. Nothing scary but things are obvious and fun and encourage the correct behaviors to keep healthy. Short enough for a bedtime story. Cute enough to be read over and over.

Listen to Come Walk,  lyrical thoughts to provoke reflection on various things in life. Daily living can be a challenge, chore or blessing. I choose blessing and you never know who you will meet in your walk of life, but you can be a blessing to them, even with just a smile.

How exciting, Dad’s getting a Noid and maybe more than one if he could be persuaded that they should each have one. A Noid could be really helpful every day. There are a lot of lessons hidden in this lovely story and it is a fun read to find out more about Noids. It has a rhymey flow and is short enough for a bedtime story. Might just become a favourite. The story makes you think about relationships and values but it is not preachy, just cute and thought-provoking.

The illustrations are energetic and there are a few find-it games to play in this lovely kid's book.
