Reading The Night before Christmas, by CC Moore has become a Christmas tradition for so many folk. 

Here, in our story, The Night Before Christ Was, it tells us, in the same familiar poetic way, of another Christmas Eve that played out so many years ago in a town called Bethlehem. The story in this book is about Someone Else that came into our world with a mission to give everyone the gift of His love and a better life. How exciting, Dad’s getting a Noid and maybe more than one if he could be persuaded that they should each have one. A Noid could be really helpful every day. There are a lot of lessons hidden in this lovely story and it is a fun read to find out more about Noids. It has a rhymey flow and is short enough for a bedtime story. Might just become a favourite. The story makes you think about relationships and values but it is not preachy, just cute and thought-provoking. 

The illustrations are energetic and there are a few find-it games to play in this lovely kid's book.
