It's a mega-sized ep for a mega-sized movie as Jordan and Brooke are joined by filmmaker Patrick Willems to discuss Michael Mann's 1995 cops and robbers epic. There's a deep bench of character actors, a thesis on the aching loneliness of LA, and an argument that this movie is secretly a gay rom-com (Letterboxd agrees). Plus tangents on everything from Shane Black vehicles, to camera equipment tech talk, to the 2001 film "Swordfish".
