Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not. And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation. And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.
John 11: 50-52
What was Caiphas revealing here about the death of Yeshua? That Yeshua was going to die for TWO nations; this nation, (the Southern kingdom= Judah) and the OTHER nation (the Northern kingdom = Ephraim). He lays down His life to make the TWO nations ONE, to make the TWO sheepfolds ONE. This is one of the main missions of our Messiah; to gather and unite the 12 tribes of Israel!
Isaac’s birth is a prophecy of the redemption of the peoples who are scattered throughout all the nations, that this “biblical Zion nation” will be born miraculously even as Isaac was born miraculously.
And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken. For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him. And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac. And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me. Genesis 21: 1-3,6
This is a PROPHECY about an end of days miraculous birth of a NATION, the biblical Zion nation—and when it happens our mouths will be filled with laughter.
Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child. W ho hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? For shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children. Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? says the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God. Isaiah 66: 7-9
