This teaching series explains how the events in Genesis and Exodus foreshadow the course of modern history. The Torah is given to us so we can learn and understand that through the lives of the patriarchs, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, and Moses, that this is a pattern for the people of Israel. Biblical history is prophecy. The biblical principle is this: the end is told in the beginning.

When Israel breaks the covenant made at Mt Sinai, they will later be going into exile. The events associated with Adam and Eve, Noah, Abraham and Isaac foreshadows the exile of the nation of Israel into the nations and their redemption through the Messiah. The conflict between Jacob and Esau foreshadows the events of the tribulation or Jacob's trouble. Joseph's separation from his brothers foreshadow the split of the house of Jacob into Northern Kingdom and Southern Kingdom and their eventual reunification. The judgments upon Egypt foreshadows the judgment upon the nations during the tribulation period. The two signs of Moses foreshadow the death and resurrection of the Messiah. The events of the historical Egyptian exodus foreshadows the tribulation, judgment of the nations, and the redemption of Ephraim and Judah.

These exiles of Israel will ultimately be gathered back to the land of Israel, they will be united in Messiah, and be under the rulership of Messiah Yeshua during the Messianic Era. Are we in a Jubilee Year now? And, if so, what does it mean? If Yeshua’s first coming was during a year of Jubilee, could it be that the second return of Yeshua is very near on the horizon?

The year of Jubilee is great BLESSING for those who are humble, pursuing a repentance lifestyle, and who are hearing and obeying His commands, who are following the Torah, the whole word of God, by the Holy Spirit. The Year of Jubilee is about RELEASE of the captives, RETURN to our homeland, the canceling of debts, and slaves set free. BUT.....For those who are unrepentant of sin, for those with an uncircumcised, hardened heart, the Jubilee year is a time of JUDGMENT, a year of vengeance of our Elohim.

We see that the vengeance of Yahweh is related to His judgment on the end time daughter of Babylon nation (which, I believe is the United States). The “vengeance of Yahweh” is Jubilee talk and it is “code” for Jubilee.

A key event happened on December 23, 2016 that sets the stage for a time of judgment to come upon the nations: The earthly international court, The UN Security Council, passed Resolution 2334 to declare and decree that the Jewish people are illegally occupying Palestinian lands in the West Bank and in East Jerusalem. This, in effect, was a “legal division” of the land of Israel.
