The sequence begins with the Erev Shabbat reading, the title part about “when you come” into the land, and then the details of the most well-known set of “Blessings and Cursings” in the whole Book:

There is a segment in this parsha that consists of repeated curses of the form, “Cursed by he THAT…” which turn out to be – or at least once to have BEEN – “things done in secret.” So what does it say that they often are no longer even done in secret, but openly? And taught in the Public Cesspools, even.

Perhaps that is why the other curses seem more imminent, if not already undeniable.

There’s an inherent ‘direction’ that the ‘True Prophets of Yah’ were given, expressed perhaps a bit colloquially, that boils down to “Tell ’em what I tell you to tell ’em.” This week, Mark suggests – as strongly as possible! – that such should apply to all of us who try to “study, to show ourselves approved,” as “speak His truth boldly,” so as to be “good and faithful servants.”

But it times like this, where the jackboots of Tyranny are so clearly goose-stepping toward a prophetic, “Mark of the Beast” climax, that it can be discouraging that ‘the masses’ of people, too often including many of our friends, family, and loved ones, just doesn’t have “ears to hear.”

Which, again, tells us something about how we’ve gone so far “off the rails.”

This week it’s important to start off with a quick look at just how truly Evil this nation has openly become. Call it “abomination on parade.” But the fact that so much of this portion is SO reviled by the ‘woke’ points to something even more important:

What ‘the world’ values – and what it does NOT – tells us how the coming Judgment will play out. And why things that seem almost mundane compared to the ‘life and death’ struggle at hand are EXACTLY what we need to understand!

This is the show where everybody who can even read the title already knows the conclusion – before we even get there.

“HOW” we ‘come out of her,’ of course, is an important element, and certainly a consistent topic over the years Mark has done this show on this network.

But THIS week is a bit different:

We know the goal – the conclusion – is always to take the course of action the Bible recommends: Come out of her, My people.

But, what about our friends, neighbors, and family? Can we help them, speak up when it’s now literally, OBVIOUSLY, a matter of ‘life and death’? When asked, can we “give an account for the hope that is within us?” And can we take our own advice, even, before it really is too late?

The Torah parsha reading for this week is “Shoftim” (Deuteronomy 16:18-21:9) — and it begins, “Judges [shoftim] and officers you shall make in all your gates…”

…which, if you thing about it, tells us right off the top why we’ve gone so far “off the rails.” But there’s FAR more.

Among other things, this week, Mark Call of Shabbat Shalom Mesa fellowship tackles what follow-up verses like “Justice, JUSTICE you shall purse” might mean, when it would seem to not only NOT be ‘pursued,’ but even ALLOWED in lands which so thoroughly despise His Word.

There is again the recurring major theme of idolatry, and His hatred of such. The warning that people would see the consequences, and “hear, and fear,” is also repeated in this parsha, too. (Now it seems, conversely, that the Satanic Elite want those who follow Yah to hear, and fear. But that, too, is a big part of the lesson.)

The Sabbath teaching is a look at contrasts. Notice, for example, right up front that the commandment is to make “judges and officers…in ALL YOUR GATES.” In other words, locally. Where we could have watched them, known first-hand if they were corrupt, or showed the kind of ‘favoritism’ (to put it mildly) that the FBI has become legendary for.

But it’s not just that “justice, JUSTICE,” is no longer even a realistic option.

Things changed, arguably irrevocably, this week when the CCPuppetFuhrer made an open declaration of war against not just at least half of the once-free country, but the very God that wiser, far better men once declared to be the Author of “self-evident Truths,” and Endower of Rights that came from Him, not those who so clearly hate Him.

Their hatred is not just for those who forlornly hope to “Make America Great Again.” Especially in the absence of Trust in YHVH. At this point, it seems that the only people who could deny that AmeriKa and this whole world are sorely DESERVING of His judgment are those who don’t believe He even exists (or He’d have already done it!)

The Remnant who Overcome will have to “Make America God-FEARING Again”.

To say that the “gloves have come off” and the Fourth Reich has now revealed the Iron Fist withing is an understatement.

While some are cheering the New Fuhrer and coming Great Reset, it’s difficult for even hard-core totalitarians to deny where they’re headed.

This one,too, includes more than one vitally-important command, which also turns out to be an undeniable ‘proof text’ for why so many of us who seek to “come out of” the whore church (or synagogue!) and return to ‘the Way’ want nothing to do with pagan, well, er, ‘crap’. The Sabbath teaching is addresses what certainly SEEM like a lot of contradictions. Between ‘judaism’ and ‘xtianity’…between “love” and “law”…

and what was supposed to be, and what instead IS.

There are warnings in this parsha that must not be overlooked, but have. The word ‘ekev’ is often translated into English as ‘because’. And Mark suggests that ‘because’ that is so true, much that is is now obvious followed. But there’s far more in here. Like the use of the word “AND” to describe His Covenant AND his chesed – “loving-kindness.”

And THAT, as it turns out, makes all the difference!

This show has always been about the once-obvious connections between the “Supreme Law of the Land” in the once-free united States, and the True Supreme Law. It’s also what this nation’s Founders did, when they wrote about, and WITHDREW, the “consent of the governed,” after a “long train of abuses and usurpations, having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny…”
