Heights Church

This weekend we got to hear a timely message from Pastor Todd on having true joy, even when things aren't always joy-filled. In the same way that the first Christmas was a little messy, our own Christmas season can oftentimes be a bit of a mess too.

When things are a mess and aren't going the way we would hope, how can we begin to find joy in the midst of these challenges that we face?

1. Believe what God says over what we feel
2. Turn your attention toward Jesus
3. Live the life of purpose you were created for

This past weekend Pastor John kicked off our Advent series and stepped into a conversation around the names of God. When you recognize the name of Jesus, you can know that there is no other name that brings salvation. Emmanuel, God with us, savior of the world.

Knowing the names of God has the power to influence all of you as you step into a brand new week, bringing you:
💫 Confidence
💫 Comfort
💫 Clarity
💫 A Cause for Celebration

As we have adventured all through the story of Joseph, we have seen God’s sovereignty playing out in every aspect.

For our final week of Intended For Good, we see how God continues to walk alongside Joseph through all of life's offenses and how we too can step into forgiveness like Joseph.

For week two of Intended For Good, we reflect on the ways that God takes all of Joseph's life's circumstances and uses them for His glory to help paint a portrait of Jesus.

During the trials and temptations that Joseph faced, he wasn't able to change his situations, but he was able to shift the moment's focus and outcome to reflect back towards Christ, bringing victory over the trial.

We're jumping into a brand new series where we will take a deep dive into the life of Joseph. We look forward to the upcoming weeks with great excitement and anticipation as we study God's word together with you.

In the same way that we select a destination on our GPS, how do we do this for our lives? As we route our GPS to home, we have to put God in the correct position.

Join us as we wrap up our series on Global Vision and set our navigation to home and focus our attention on eternity.

Week four of Global Vision might feel a little different, as we hear from Jay Greer all the way from Japan! We're expectant as he shares with us the mission of Christ and how that mission is actively playing out all around the world.

For the third week of our series on Global Vision, we get to hear a special message from Pastor Owen! Join us for this timely message as we gain vision to see God's Kingdom through his line of sight.

We are extremely excited to welcome our global partner, Jamal, all the way from the country of Jordan!

We are ready and expectant for the message that God will speak to us through him. Let's give Jamal a warm welcome, sit back, and get ready to expand your vision.
