On the morning of April 8, 1981, 47-year-old Weldon Alexander finished his overnight shift at Cooper Tire in Texarkana, Arkansas.
When he got home that morning, the first thing that he noticed was the door, which was left open. When he walked inside he found his two children, Karen and Gordon, aged 14 and 13, brutally stabbed to death.
