We are going to continually find ourselves stepping off the path of discipleship in our journey back to the Father. We can picture it like being stopped on the side of the road. Progress halted. In those moments we have to decide if we will turn back to God or continue to turn to sin or weakness. Progress is less frequent stops. Progress is being more quick to turn back to the path of discipleship through the Atonement of Jesus Christ!

Emotions are the result of the input our brain is receiving in a given moment and are chemicals released by our brain to move us.
In my work, I teach you to be agents who act using our agency rather than just being at the mercy of default brain programming, old habits, or circumstances. I want YOU to have a say about what emotions are running the show in your life!
Listen in as I teach you two ways to determine what emotions you are experiencing!

There is great freedom in forgiveness. It frees us to start fresh. It frees us to feel the Spirit. It allows joy and peace to be restored.
It does not excuse past behavior or say what happened was alright. It does not mean staying in a position to continue to be harmed. It does not equate to forgetting. Listen in as I share some thoughts and insights about forgiving others as well as ourselves.

Happiness is not the absence of hardship. It is not the fleeting hits of dopamine from eating chocolate and ice cream. And it is not found in worldy pursuits.
Happiness is a feeling you can have based on the thoughts you are thinking or the sum of the life you are living. Happiness, or joy, is a feeling you can receive from Heavenly Father who promises us eternal joy.

To create space for joy, for new habits, or for growth, we need to declutter and pull out the weeds that are meant to go. We need to allow space for the new to enter in.
