Sadler, Margaret Ann Felton, passed away on August 20. 2023. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, George Frederick Sadler Jr. and her brother Thomas A. Felton. Margaret is survived by her sons George F. Sadler III (Isabelle); Hugh T. Sadler (Anita); and four grandchildren, George F. Sadler IV (Lane), Thomas H. Sadler, William R. Sadler, and Claire M. Anderson, Ramona Beck passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023 at the age of 94. She was born on June 28, 1929 in Henrico County. Ramona was preceded in death by her parents, Glenice and Claude W. Beck, Sr.; her husband, Melvin Edward Anderson; and son, Wayne Bruce Anderson. She is survived by her sons, Bill (Joanne) and Mickey (Debbie); and daughter, Karen (Richard Sharp); seven grandchildren; and two great-grandsons. Henrico Schools’ facilities team completed repairs to address about 34 reported air conditioning concerns at various schools, HCPS officials said Thursday. After fixing AC issues at eight schools by Aug. 16, the facilities team completed work on 15 additional schools, which HCPS officials reported had issues last week, before the first day of school Aug. 21. “The school list of concerns provided for the Friday article were all addressed before schools opened on Monday morning,” HCPS official spokesperson Eileen Cox said.
