America’s top youth lacrosse athletes will vie for national titles when the first-ever US Club Lacrosse National Championship comes to the Richmond region in 2024, and some of the games will be played at Henrico’s Glover Park. The event will take place there and at Chesterfield’s RiverCity Sportsplex Aug. 1-4. US Club Lacrosse is partnering with Elite Tournaments to put on the event. The groups worked with Richmond Region Tourism and local partners to bring the championship to the region. The Virginia Department of Transportation will implement lane closures and slow rolls on I-295 southbound at Nuckols Road June 12 to facilitate the installation of new and removal of old cantilever signs. The slow roll will take place from I-64 westbound onto I-295 southbound at mile marker 52.3, beginning Monday at 8 p.m. and continuing until the work is completed. Officers from Henrico County and Richmond police departments responded to the area of N. 35th and Marshall Streets Monday morning in connection to a man wanted for "multiple violent incidents." Henrico Police said they were searching for 45-year-old Dana Paul Roman of Henrico, who was wanted for aggravated malicious wounding, malicious wounding, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, abduction and carjacking out of Fairfax County.
