I pray this message gives listeners some insight into not only what God is showing me about myself, but also what Spirit may be trying to attempt to show you. I really felt compelled to do a deeper dive into "Who I am" as a person and more importantly as a woman of God. I think often we define ourselves as our job title or what our resume lists, rather than being self aware enough and introspective enough to see what character traits truly define us. Who are we outside of our titles and What are the inner traits we carry? Are these qualities that we should be proud of, or qualities that God would be proud of?

The importance of knowing ourselves deeply in this way, helps navigate our paths towards where we intend to go and where God intends for us to be. Until you look at self, you may not realize that the traits you have within are what's hindering your journey and your growth in life. 

Are you a giver? Are you prideful? Are you self centered? Are you jealous? Do you define your worth by your achievements? Do you have a savior complex? Do you feel the only way you will be valuable is if you give as much as you can to others? All of these questions can be difficult as we make the conscious decision to look at ourselves; but It is crucial for our development to not only know "Who We Are"; we must also ask the question "Why Am I This Way?" "What Happened To Me" and "Is This The Person God Wants Me To be"?

To switch it up a little, I decided to bring my partner back on the podcast so The Her Authentic Self audience can hear a behind the scenes male and female perspective on what God intends from romantic union and what we learned as a couple to understand about each others needs and quirks.

This would not be Her Authentic Self if I did not show an authentic representation of what our relationship looks like as we learn together and grow together. Simply loving your partner is not enough, and as much as we know God intended for our relationship to come forth, there were still many times that we fell short of showing each other a love that God intends. There were still times where we struggled to accept each other and truly hear each others needs. 

This episode is for anyone who wants the truth of what love is and what God says love should be. This episode is for anyone who is eagerly desiring relationship and for God to hear their prayers. Love is so much more than meeting the person you're meant to be with forever. In order to maintain a healthy relationship you will need to be comfortable with self awareness, comfortable with change and comfortable with adapting to life with a partner rather than solely putting yourself first.

Happy Sunday ladies and gentlemen. I pray that this audio help encourage you and whatever hardship you may currently be facing. This message is heartfelt and real. This message for anyone who has allowed disappointments in life to push them farther away from God and his promises. This message is not to condemn or talk down to those struggling with their faith. This message is to help those who feel upset and let down by God; to encourage these people, make them feel seen and loved.

I know what it's like to feel as though you have been faithful and God still hasn't answered your prayers. I know what its like to feel confused and disappointed because you have been trusting God to do a work that feels it will never come to pass. I believe one of the main reasons people turn away from their faith, is because their un-answered desired and prayers start to build deep levels of pain and resentment within them. You are not alone! 

Maybe God wants us to bring our disappointments to him? Maybe God yearns for a relationship with us where we can truly be vulnerable. Your lament of a situation does not equate to self pity. Don't allow delayed miracles to push you farther away from the only Source who can make the impossible come to pass in your life. If you are in a season where you feel burdened and angry with God, maybe its time to be honest with yourself and see what's truly at the center of your heart?

Happy Friday to all the people struggling with perfectionism and self doubt. I may not know your story but If you've been feeling more exhausted than ever lately, this message is for you. Tune in to hear some tell tale signs that you may be living a life of hurry sickness. God instructs us in Mathew 11:28-30 and says “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

This is your reminder that we are called to REST in him. Spirit empathizes with our workload and our busy plates; this is why God instructs us to rest in him, so that he can take away our weariness and the heavy burdens we carry.

Be encouraged today and know that my story and testimony is first hand proof, that life with God is so much better! In him we have rest, we have purpose and fulfillment. We have peace of mind and unconditional love like no other. God has brought me so much father then where I used to be.

If you feel lost and overwhelmed in your current season of life, know that God see's you and he understands. His spiritual advice to us is to abandon what culture says about non stop productivity, and decide to choose a path of rest. Decide to lay our burdens on him and decide to let him make our lives so much better! There is no one like the Lord.

This message is for the person who needs to be reminded that God has not forgotten about them, just because they're in a season of suffering. 

The world will tell you to crumble and fall into depression when you experience unwanted pain and suffering. The bible tells us in James 1:2-4 "Consider it pure joy my brothers and sisters whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance"

Yes its hard for the world to grasp that such a loving merciful God would allow us to experience pain we don't deserve...but Gods ways are not our ways. We are called to stand in faith and know that he is with us through the storm. We are called to be a holy representation of Christ. Suffering in our lives challenges whether or not we are going to put his word into practice. If we're going to choose faith over fear. 

Yes God loves you! He loves you so much that he allows suffering to create Spiritual perseverance in us.

You CAN find peace in knowing that God sees every tear you cry. He's chasing you down, trying to show you that he has so much more to offer you than the world does.

Happy Valentines Day loves and Welcome to Season 3! I wanted to start off by saying, ALL women are welcome here; even non believers, ESPECIALLY non believers. This platform is for women to feel seen, heard, valued and to learn emotional and spiritual tools as we navigate our healing journeys. You are loved by me no matter what your religious beliefs are and I am standing in faith that people will receive helpful guidance from my authenticity and walk with God.

In this episode I update you all on the messaging I've heard from Spirit since my previous recording. I'm learning that often my frustration with God comes from my belief that Spirit isn't hearing my prayers. Not only did God check me, but he told me through various sources that yes, he does hear my prayers but he's waiting on me to move forward! Yes, we serve an amazing God but Faith without works is dead. If you believe but do not put any of the necessary actions behind your request than there is nothing God can do, except wait on you to move. 

If there is anything you have been praying for, I want you to know that God hears you. Next time you feel your prayers are not manifesting, ask  God what he needs from you!
We desperately need God in our lives, and in order to get close to him there is more that we are required to do than simply say our requests in prayer.  

If you feel lost in your current season of life, don't be weary. If we were never lost, we would not have the chance to know and see God move!
