On the first episode of Her Group Chat Steph and Jul discuss everything going on in the world right now. They interview professional cheerleader, Co-founder of Philly Phairytale and owner of Good For the Soul Photo Cass Foley. She discusses how racism has impacted her throughout her life and how it still impacts her today. She explains how racism isn’t just what you see in the textbooks or what you’re taught in history class, but is present in many forms in every day life. She discusses how we can help and the importance of having the tough conversations with loved ones about these very real struggles that people of color experience every single day.  She leaves us with some great resources (Instagram handles below). The girls end the episode with their first story from their “Wild Dating” segment! An anonymous friend writes in about how her college ex-boyfriends shit exploded all over her then apartment.
