She shares her experiences of navigating a male- dominated sports industry and provides advice on how women can build mental strength from their experiences. Lita also dives into aspects of fitness and her passion for training people with Parkinson.

Lita has competed in 45 Amateur Fights in the past 13 years and has a Professional Boxing record of 1-1. She was a geriatric nurse with experience in mental health and long term care.

In June 2017, Lita was voted women’s best fitness and wellness coach by Fab Female awards.

Achieving success while fighting systemic barriers is not easy for women, but it is doable with the right guidance and support system. Cultural battles with parents, constant criticism for not living up to brown standards, body shaming for being a curvy woman, sexist comments for being ambitious and asked "where are you from" were some of the many challenges I had to face.
