Isn’t it everybody’s dream…. to have a little place in the country to escape to? A place that you can go when you want to get out of Dodge?  A place where she can have a garden and the kids can run free and where he can take his dog for a hike in the woods?

 Here's one man's story.

We bring in an expert to talk about the changing culture of high school and college sports.  A 27 year veteran of high school coaching, Mike Corrado (my son, no less) gives us some insights and points to the kind of coach we  need more of  -  Ted Lasso!

If you look at her today, mostly on the TV screen, she is the epitome of American success – great looks, famous reputation, successful in all things.  But it wasn’t always that way.  The four years I spent with her were a time when things weren’t all that great. Her halcyon days seemed to be over, best looked at in the rear view mirror.  And yet my time with her was wonderful.  And it’s that era that I want to recall in today’s podcast.

If there is one thing that is always in abundant supply, it is advice. We highlight some of the ones that have been most enduring and meaningful over time. Some of them are maybe not what you want, but may well be what you need. 

The great thing about love is that it can be  given in so many ways - to  your family, to your friends, to strangers on the street, to the clerk at the store, to the tech person on the phone, to the person who opens the door for you, and even to  yourself. Some simple things to bring love to the world every day.

A kiss, a kick in the pants, a fast car, a year that lives in infamy, a winter week in the woods…. Each so different, each so unforgettable. No matter how old you are there are certain things that happen in your life that are no to be forgotten.
