Giving Churches Give:

1. As an act of God
2. According to, and beyond their ability
3. Willingly
4. First themselves to God
5. According to what they do have
6. With reciprocity in mind

Glorificamos a Dios cuando reconocemos su caracter dadivoso y expresamos nuestra gratitud.

2 Corintios 8:9 Porque ya conocéis la gracia de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, que por amor a vosotros se hizo pobre, siendo rico, para que vosotros con su pobreza fueseis enriquecidos.

De 2 Corintios 8:9, aprendemos que el dar de Dios es: 

1. Una expresión de su gracia (Porque ustedes conocen la gracia de nuestro Señor Jesucristo...) 
2. Extravagantemente generoso (... que aunque era rico, sin embargo por tu bien se hizo pobre...) 
3. Expresamente por nuestro bien (... por tu bien... para que tú por medio de su pobreza seas rico)

 We glorify God by acknowledging His giving character and expressing our gratitude.

2 Corinthians 8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.

From 2 Corinthians 8:9, we learn that God’s giving is:

1.  An expression of His grace (For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ…)
2. Extravagantly generous (…that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor…)
3. Expressly for our good (…for your sakes…that you through His poverty might become rich)

Key Verse:  For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.  John 3:16 

Para vivir una vida que glorifica a Dios, debemos aprender a ser conscientes de las cosas de Dios.

To live a God glorifying life, we must learn to be mindful of the things of God.

To be mindful of the things of God:

1. Requires knowing Him.

2. Requires trusting Him. 

3. Requires submitting to Him.
