Luke 2:1-20As Christians, we get to celebrate the Christmas story and proclaim it's message for God's glory. But though the message is universal, we must come to the realization that it is also a personal message. That God became flesh, lived a perfect life, died on a cross for my sin and rose again from the dead to offer me eternal life. "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me". Galatians 2:20

What can we learn about worship from the magi who traveled to see Jesus? Did they know exactly where they were going? No. But they were not too proud to ask. If you are seeking the Lord, don't be afraid to ask! Hear more as Bruce brings this week's message.

"Do You See Anything?" Mark 8:22-26: In Bethsaida some people brought a blind man to Jesus and begged him to touch and heal him. Jesus took the blind man’s hand and led him out of the village. Then he spit on the man's eyes, laid his hands on him and asked, “Do you see anything?” Sometimes we have to be moved from our familiar surroundings so that we can see clearly.

What if Jesus lived in your house? How would He relate to the neighbors and the people in your life? We're not perfect neighbors and some of us don't even know ours. What do you think Jesus would do if he lived in your house? Would he do things to annoy or bully the neighborhood or would he show comfort and concern? Would he help them learn about salvation? How well do you know your neighbors?

Part 4 of Strengthening Your Family. Luke 15:11-24 relates Jesus' beautiful story of the Prodigal Son. It's more than the story of a misguided son. It is even more than a lesson about God's love. The beauty of this story is that it illustrates some powerful principles for parenting even in the midst of parent -child conflict. God has a plan for you and your family. He has provided a path for strengthening families. Are you willing to trust in his word?
