P. S: This episode was recorded on the 12th of October, as at which all information stated here were accurate. We are uncertain how the next few days may turn out and as such, we do not bear the risk of misinformation if subsequent changes are made in the future.
What started out as a social media hashtag has grown into a national outcry by millions of Nigerians calling for the end of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad.
Over the past days we have seen how Nigerian youths have pushed for not just the dissolution of SARS, but the end of Police Brutality.
I sat with a friend, Richard Samson, to talk about everything on the movement, from our own personal experiences with SARS to the alleged end, the new SWAT team, and the stifling of tech companies in support of the movement.
By sharing our personal experiences, we hope it has been proven that ANYONE can be a victim of this insane harassment. Kindly listen and share on all platforms.
Remember, your voice matters, and the movement matters.
