NPR Student Podcast Challenge: A Fortnight In Fortnite by Zain & Kunga
(This Podcast was submitted as an entry in the 2023 NPR Student Podcast Challenge 4th-8th Grade Competition)
In this podcast, Zain and Kunga remember the first two weeks of the pandemic and the importance of a simple thing like Fortnite. For two weeks when no one really knew what would happen with school, students found a way to find some normalcy in video games. Some people think video games are pointless, but for these 8th graders, it was much more important.

We asked him questions to get to know him better, not only as a teacher but also as who he really is outside of school. What motivated him to become an ELA teacher?
