This week’s guest talks to us about all things FASHUN (fashion for the layman). Mel Chia, buyer/consultant for luxury brands joins us to discuss females in fashion, insights into the industry, are trends really a thing; she breaks some of the stigma about the fashion world that “Devil Wears Prada” gave us. Tune in to hear from someone who has actually been to Fashion Week's around the world, and yes, they are as cool as you’d think, but it's also a grind! We also talk (new) Batman, because obvi! We touch on last week’s ep and why we just feel bad for bitter boys! Follow us @herspective_podcast
Make women great again! Yes you read that right, that is the slogan for the 22 Convention, an event created by the founder of the Manosphere; Anthony "Dream" Johnson, along side his extreme, right-winged, power seeking cronies. An event so ridiculous that it is almost unbelievable, in fact we still aren't sure if we believe it. The purpose of the event is to "make women great again," by having a panel of MEN tell women how to become, well great, again, while attempting to dismantle feminism. There's just so much to unpack here! Listen in while we break down the reasons why an all male convention speaking to women about how to improve their femininity is a terrible idea, and far more detrimental to bettering our species than helpful. We also talk Lauren’s embarrassing first week stories at her new gig, as well as pooping at the office.
