The young Sydney-based multidisciplinary artist and fashion label ⁠Yellow Girl Gang⁠ founder lives her digital life in hyper colour, with a sound to match. Once you really listen to the lyrics of her hip hop come pop adventure. It's no bubble gum. MUNG MUNG shares authentic, intelligent rhymes on her take of life out there in the real world as well as what's going on in TikTok Land. 

She says the release is a true diary log of #justgirlytings. She's a lit sound for the local scene if I do try out some Gen Z for myself!

Drag queen Timberlina is based in Newcastle Australia. With a glittery rainbow of a personality she is an amazing educator and advocate of the LGBTIQA+ community. 

I chat with Tim Jackson - the man behind the mayhem - about his career as a First Nations drag queen who devotes his work to education for children despite controversy and his efforts to educate in regional NSW with rainbow story time, drag cabaret, trivia and bingo. 

Crowned Miss Photogenic in this year’s Miss First Nation Supreme Queen 2023, Timberlina has is all: she's a marriage celebrant, MC, presenter, host and all-round entertainer. 

Tim is still amazed by how far he’s come from after growing up in country NSW. Let's get into it!

We also look into an effort to save Melbourne's iconic music venue The Tote. I wish them all the best and hope we can save this awesome venue that's helped form the path for many an Australian music.

ĠENN are a UK-based four piece girl group based in Brighton on the cusp of releasing their debut album (when vinyl stocks allow). The history of the band is certainly an interesting one.

This episode is an extensive chat with Naarm, trans, First Nations and to-the-point artist Mo'ju. They are a beautiful soul who writes and sing from the heart. This has led to labelling as a political artist, which apparently isn't true.
The next album Ora Plata Mata is out on March 24th. Two singles 'Change Has To Come' and 'Money' are out as tasters. This release will be off the back of shows with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra on Gadigal land and the Melbourne Symphony on Kulin country that we off the back of World Pride Month.

This is music and film critic Peter Piatkowski and I chatting about Madonna. He said her enigmatic style is why he likes her so much. 
We deep dive into the nineties in the US and her place, based on Peter's article Blond Contrition: Madonna's Musical Response to the 1990s Culture Wars on the US music culture website Pop Matters.
The conservative right saw Madonna as a "source of debauchment and morality depravity".
We chat Erotica (1992), and then the nearly apologetic Bedtime Stories (1994).
Who is Madonna? It's not as if she's strategically mapping out all her apparent misnomers or rebirths over like a war hero in a movie. Or is she?
