Danny Yau is the voice, creator, producer, and everything to do with the Just Ace 90s podcast. 

The podcast was launched in late September, with the season closing out earlier this month.

Danny just wanted to put it out just because, and didn’t expect the popularity it has received. 

100,000 plus downloads and being rated the number one Australian music podcast.

When we talked, it was like chatting to a mate while leaning on the Annandale Hotel bar listening to another brilliant band own the stage. 

He chose a chance to appear on HERstory Podcast as his only interview in 2022, in support of indie podcasts.

Camp Cope frontwoman Georgia Maq comes to us from  LA, when she was over there recently to focus on song writing focusing on her solo work.
This follows on from her recent release of the Live At The Opera House EP, which landed earlier this month.

This week I chat with the lovely and driven Jannah Beth.

She has a unique sound popping out underground whatever is called ‘alternate’ these days. 

Her sound is an eclectic mesh of hip hop, indie pop, soul and electronica. 
As she sings, she’s in her own lane.

Offbeat Collective is the studio slash second home she runs in Marrickville which is the creative palace for talented musicians, visual storytellers and artists with 50%  female/non-binary residents.

Wergaia and Wemba Wemba woman Alice Skye is quickly making her mark on the Aussie music scene. She released her sophomore I Feel Better But I Don’t Feel Good during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown in July, 2021.

She works closely with venue owners and festival organisers to boost inclusivity and open up gigs and events of all sizes to everyone.
