What is resilience🤔? There is no fixed definition for the term, but we could go with- an ability to recover ❤️‍🩹 from an adverse event. Traumatic experiences, unfortunate accidents and similar incidents could leave a deep scar😞 in anyone's mind which leads to them falling into depression, having anxiety, their mental as well as physical health rapidly deteriorating . The ones who have trained their minds to be resilient 🧘🏻‍♂️ are able to overcome these negative situations and utilizing the experiences to lead a better life 🏃🏻. But the bigger question is, how to build a resilient mind?🧐 Are there any specific methods one can follow to train their minds to be resilient?

Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) features a pattern of unwanted thoughts and fears (obsessions) that lead you to do repetitive behaviours (compulsions). These obsessions and compulsions interfere with daily activities and cause significant distress. People with OCD may have symptoms of obsessions, compulsions, or both. These symptoms can interfere with all aspects of life, such as work, school, and personal relationships. Obsessions are repeated thoughts, urges, or mental images that cause anxiety. Common symptoms include Fear of germs or contamination. Obsessive-compulsive disorder is characterised by unreasonable thoughts and fears (obsessions) that lead to compulsive behaviours. OCD often centres on themes such as a fear of germs or the need to arrange objects in a specific manner. Traumatic experiences can initiate strong emotions and physical reactions that can persist long after the event. Children may feel terror, helplessness, or fear, as well as physiological reactions such as heart pounding, vomiting, etc. The most common causes of childhood trauma include Accidents. Bullying/cyberbullying. Chaos or dysfunction in the house (such as domestic violence, a parent with a mental illness, substance abuse or incarcerated). Without proper care, these traumatic reactions can continue into adulthood.
