This week we are chatting all things growth and living a life that is true to us and our aspirations. β¨ Jenna, a multi-faceted creative from Michigan, shares her love for videography, yoga, shuffling, meditation, and beyond, and details the experiences in her life that have led her to her motto, "live colorfully." We dive in deep on topics like how to level up in life, how she traded her love affair with volleyball to chase after videography, and Jenna leaves us with valuable information on how to step out of our comfort zone and into our power.
Jenna speaks her mind on how to stop caring about what other people think and follow your path, shares her insight on how big this world is in relation to us (and how that can empower us), and brings her bright, bubbly personality and a wholeeee buncha' color to this fun convo π¨

Have you ever felt pressure to keep up with the crowd, even when what was popular didn't resonate with you? In a Tik Tok and Instagram culture, where algorithms reward conformity and trending songs and dance challenges, how do we preserve what is unique about ourselves without losing followers or engagement? And is this even possible?
All good questions, my friends. And all to be answered in this very special episode with my VERY FIRST GUEST! Ladies and gentleman, meet shuffler extraordinaire @sammysteads, aka Sam Steadman. You may know her from Tik Tok or Instagram for her excellent tutorials and shuffle freestyles, or you may be meeting her for the first time via this fun conversation about individuality and growth. "New year, new me!" We've heard it a million times, and perhaps are guilty of saying this phrase ourselves. Every December, after we've stuffed ourselves full of turkey, ham, mashed potatos, and gravy, we self assess before the ball drops in NYC to ring in a new year. We start imagining ourselves hustling at work, 'getting our bodies back' at the gym, being the best partner in the world, and overall suddenly kicking ass. But is this realistic? Are these goals we set even truly aligned with what our unique, individual souls truly want? Probs not.
Although it's amazing to want to be the best parent ever, or have the most bangin' bod, or get that bonus at work by hustling even harder, I think it's time we took a step back and asked ourselves without fear of judgement, "What would success look like for me if there were no societal pressure, familial pressure, or fear of failure or looking dumb?" And what are the ingredients that would bring that version of you to fruition? Does a clock ticking into a new year make us any different? Stay tuned to find out.

Hey ya'll. Ever beat yourself over not being the best at something, or just beat yourself up for not reaching what you perceive to be YOUR best? Do you avoid things you want to do because of fear of failure, comparing yourself to others, or never being happy enough with your progress? Do you ever stop yourself before you start because you just think "I could never *insert limiting belief here*."
Well my friends, this episode is for you. Here's a little about why I've been MIA, and what I realized was affecting me day by day. The dangers of overconsumption of social media, slowly arising subconscious thoughts, and the evils of comparison.

Helloooo friends.
No shocker here to say that sometimes we think in 'worst case scenario' mindsets when it's actually completely unnecessary. Something bad or unexpected happens and we go straight to super negative thoughts like 'what if xyz happens now?' or 'this means I'm NEVER going to achieve *insert thing you want to achieve here*' or 'I guess I just wasn't cut out for blah blah blah' and so on and so forth. Which is BS, btw β yet we forget to question the validity of our thoughts and find ourselves thinking a bunch of untrue shizz about ourselves that prevents us from reaching our true potential.
Well guess what? Although I am still prone to this kind of thinking, I have a methodology that works wonders to get me through and out of my funk.
