Hey Everybody!

I, just like so many others, have faced serious changes in life and in my career over the last year. The only way I am able to maintain motivation and productivity is by waking up every single day with a purpose. Don't let yourself get stagnant or stale. Stay disciplined, maintain purpose, and strive to hit the next goal. Everything else will come back around and fall into place.

We all set goals and make efforts at the beginning of the new year, and try to use the calendar flip to make something new of ourselves. But how far do you get into the year before you start to burn out. Treat your resolution like a nurtured relationship. Attend to it everyday. Remind yourself where your desire and will come from. You will never drop it.

The Holidays bring up so many memories, some fond and some forlorn. Make this Christmas season the best it can possibly be. Make lasting memories, and be grateful for the gift of time you have and the people you have it with.

"It's amazing how sometimes when people are at their lowest they can show you how high up you really are..."

Life is never a straight line. Just when I think I know the pitch I get hit with a hard curve, and it is usually followed by a mean foul ball. But I've heard it said - Hard times make strong men and good stories. Adversity keeps things mixed up, and with 31 years under my belt I've had to just figure out how to roll with the punches.

My Thanksgivings have not always been the most traditional, but they were still full of joy and memory. It just goes to show that you can be thankful anywhere, anytime.

There has never been an illusion of my life being straightforward, including the full year leading up to the birth of my son. I feel though, the craziness he was born into has resulted in him being a very spontaneous, fun-loving child and probably the coolest kid I know. Happy 3rd Birthday Aiden Miles!

I took on a big job this week, engineering, producing, and performing on another person’s project. It made me stop and think about how man different gears I have to shift to pull it all off. There’s more to all of this than just getting up and acting like a star.

There are many reasons to offer encouragement. There are also many reasons to need, and even ask for encouragement. An encouraging word to someone that may not need it will never hurt, but discouraging someone's spirit is never needed.
