This time, it’s double sized issues that never made it to the show. From THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD #200, Batman kinda, sorta meets Batman in an adventure so trying he’ll remember it for ever! Then, Tommy Monaghan is off to Texas to find “A Coffin Full Of Dollars” from Hitman Annual #1. Two great comics mused over by 2 blithering imbeciles.

It’s all about team ups this week when Spider-Man and Dr Strange must work together, sort of, to prevent the awesome threat of Dilby and the Bend Sinister, a tale originally presented in Amazing Spider-Man Annual 14. What will be made of this story that takes in most of New York’s major landmarks including a trip to CBGB’s! Then, The Punisher works with Spidey, sort of, to prevent Dr Octopus from killing 5 million people! Amazing Spider-Man Annual #15 gives us all the details. Following these off-beat clashes, Desire pops by to tell us a story of The Endless in a Sandman issue sure to perk you up. So, if you’re into something good, check out this week’s Hey Kids, Comics!

Today’s mixture of just solid, entertaining reads span the breadth the known world. There’s an Englishman in New York when Captain Britain clashes with both Spider-Man and Arcade in Marvel Team-Up #65 and 66, then Dr Strange takes us beyond in #56 of his own title. Finally, over to the East for a scary horror story, Uzumaki.

Taking a break from all their worries, Micheal and Andrew prepare to spend the next few weeks looking over comics that were penciled in for shows but never happened. This week, Armoured Avenger The Invincible Iron Man takes centre stage in a fight to the finish with Blacklash in #146 and #147, then Superman must help out Superman in DC COMICS PRESENTS ANNUAL #1 before we go all gothic for Becky Cloonan’s WOLVES.

It’s the second episode celebrating Comics Best Sidekick, as Micheal and Andrew look at more classic moments from the career of Dick Grayson ESQ. First up, a seminal moment – Dick Quits! Yes, in THE NEW TEEN TITANS # 39 Dick hangs up the short shorts and pixie boots. Wally also quits, but who cares about him, right? Then, we’ll spend some time in the Animated Universe were Dick quits again, in the 5 part mini series THE LOST YEARS. Finally, with Bruce Wayne dead, Dick adopts the mantle of the bat and journey’s to merrie old England to tackle The Coals From Newcastle and Pearly Charlie! Bad accents ensue.
