It was time for a check-in! We've missed you, we've missed our mics, and even more than that, we think HAVAR is growing into a lot more than what we thought it was (what's new?!). Now we're at 82 and New. It definitely feels like a new day! We had an amazing weekend last weekend of seeing the start of something we've wanted to see for so long. Tabatha set a powerful table for local leaders and Stacey almost didn't show up. But in the end, friendship set the table, and we think it just might be friendship that keeps us there.

Well, we didn't see this one coming. A passion to follow God and a calling to do it together sometimes doesn't look like what we imagined. In those times, we cling to Him and let go of what He asks us so that the greater things can come. Now we've come full circle to how we began: Sometimes friendship looks like staying, other times it looks like going, and always it looks like celebrating! When we come to relationships only wanting to receive, it ends up being a pretty lonely feeling on both sides. The root of "I" is isolation, though it may not feel like it in the moment. 

But when we come in the posture of service, it is life-giving to everyone. The root of "We" is community, and this is where we will always find our greatest fulfillment and purpose.

There's nothing worse than having our own thoughts bombard us and not knowing where they come from or WHO's behind them! As Christian women, this can be a constant struggle since all of us have a deep desire to hear God but can't always be certain it's Him who is speaking to us. Ok ladies, here we go! Do alcohol and the anointing of God mix? Can Havar Life at The Well include a little wine every now and then? What's the harm, right??

Well, it seems the world is asking a similar question with a phrase we heard recently: "sober curious." People have started to wonder if drinking is actually benefitting them the way they think it does and are testing it out by changing their social drinking lifestyle. This week we're pressing in, but we're not so much "sober curious" as much as we are "Holy Spirit curious"! 

What do you think? Does a little wine really matter at God's Well? We might ruffle some cocktail feathers this week, but we invite you to come in, grab a spritzer, and decide for yourself if you want the wine of the world that turns to water, or the water at the well that turns into wine. This round's on us, cheers!

So many of us have been isolated from having true friends because of work, home, and life responsibilities, not to mention having calls on our lives that no one understands. It's hard to watch others find friendship when you know you need it as desperately as the air you breathe!"

These powerful words were written by our guest and dear friend Angie Naish, who came to us because she wanted to admit what she had been feeling - jealousy over our friendship! It was keeping her stuck and isolated, but more importantly, it was robbing her of destiny. So, we gave her a big ole hug and asked her to talk about it with all of us because she's not the only one who has brought this up recently! 

Let's rip the lid off of this topic today, ladies! The devil can't have our destinies anymore.
