This first episode of Season 3 I am joined by Kitti Andrews, Coach and Author who specialises in decluttering your brain and your space. Kitti has a thriving practice in Canada and sees many clients remotely. During our interview she explains how she can help people without physically entering their home. Kitti also shares her own struggles as she has ADHD. She has developed many tools to help those who find clearing their space challenging. We also discuss how your space reflects your mind, and why it’s important to address what is really going on in your life. I mention the issue of the differences between hoarding, which is a diagnosable mental illness (DSM-5) and clutter which is not. There is a huge difference between them, and I give a brief explanation. I am excited about this season and looking forward to continuing to learn and connect with everyone and to bring to you what I think are interesting people doing their part for humanity. Kelly is an actress and fashion designer. Her creative work spans a very impressive 4 decades in Film and Television. She has worked on many television series such as Fame, T.J Hooker, A Different World, Hill Street Blues, Martin, ER and many others. Her film credits include Mask, starring opposite Cher, which received critical acclaim, The Lost Boys, and Summer School starring Mark Harman. Other credits include House Party, Doc Hollywood, New Jack City, and one of her most recognised films, Nightmare on Elm Street 5, the Dream Child, alongside Robert Englund at Freddy Krueger, as well as ‘The People Under the Stairs’. She has also starred in many TV movies such as Sunset Grill, The Rich Man’s Wife, Stranger Inside, and Providence. I have known Kelly for many decades, and we share a great history and talk about everything from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers when she lived in the same building, her exciting and sometimes challenging acting career with some iconic roles, working with Bill Cosby and much more. I love her as a friend and mentor.

I am very pleased to welcome Dr Jaya Viswanathan to the show. Dr Viswanathan is a Neuroscientist, Engineer and Author, and illustrator. We discuss how the brain works, how extraordinary we really are as humans, and how animals have one up on us in some ways. It’s fascinating content and she explains it for all of us lay people. We talk about everything from evolution to dementia, to neuroscience research. Jaya is an author and her book, ‘Baby Senses: A sensory neuroscience primer for all ages’ makes neuroscience accessible and fun to an intellectually curious lay audience, including children. Jaya is also an artist, and we discuss how art can contribute to learning and understand science. It was an interesting and huge learning experience for me, and I know that it will be for you as well. There is a reason why we do what we do. We also touch upon the topic of dementia.
