High Five: The Podcast

J and Q want to better understand why we've living in a perpetually updated sequel, so they break down the Top 5 Rebeatquels of all time.

It's a veritable smorgasbord of good news, and on top of all of that, we're wrapping up our "Here Comes Halloween Horror Movie Director Series" by doing a Directospective (trademarked, High Five: The Podcast) on a favorite of yours and ours: Tim Burton!

Yes, we know his later movies haven't been as great, but you may be surprised by how many crucial films he made in a row. You also may be surprised by how fervently both Q and J hate and love some of Burton's filmography. It's not a party until someone gets a Hot Burton! It's time for another entry in our Here Comes Halloween Horror Movie Director Series and this time we're diving into the legacy and filmography of the zombie master: George A. Romero! Q and J shuffle around looking for brains and contemplating the meaning of Romero's romantic comedy There's Always Vanilla as well as just what the hell's actually going on in Monkey Shines. Don't worry, we talk about his zombie and Stephen King movies too.

This is also the episode where we officially launch our blood feud with Smallville's Michael Rosenbaum and it gets pretty heated. (Checks the Internet) Well, we'll be damned. Anyway, by the end of this episode, we'll have a definitive Top 5 Wes Craven Movies of all Time list!

Not only will be discussing the many talents of John Carpenter, but we will end with the definitive Top 5 John Carpenter Movies list.
