High School Slumber Party

Vampires? Werewolves? Potential Demon Babies? If Twilight: Breaking Dawn part 1 isn't a Halloween movie, I don't know what is. The most popular girl in school Kate Hudson is back to chat about our latest film in our Twilight Forever series! Bella (Kristen Stewart) finally gets everything she has always dreamed of as we get a wedding, a honeymoon, sexy time, a pregnancy and a human to vampire transformation? Edward (Robert Pattinson) is back of course and Jacob (Taylor Lautner) is still mad at him and everyone else in his warpath.

Are you ready for the most metal teen horror movie of all time? Ryan Stick of the Ryan Stick show joins us for the very first time to chat Trick or Treat! Gene Simmons? Check. Ozzy Osbourne? Check. Skippy from Family Ties? Sure! What happens when a dead rock star (Sammi Curr) comes back through his superfan's playing of his last record backwards? A movie worth talking almost two hours about as our Halloween horror series continues.

Do you believe in destiny? Fate? Is it possible to cheat death? When Final Destination first came out in 2000, teens everywhere were asking their dates those same deep questions. Today we bring them up once again as guest Danny Kim presents Brian with a gift that should make everyone question how much control they actually have over their own lives. Brian and Danny also break down all the action, death scenes and everything else that makes Final Destination an underrated horror/thriller classic with one of the scariest movie villains of all...death itself.

First time guest Dan "The Duke" Hayden hops in the sleeping bag to chat the 1998 alien teen horror classic, The Faculty. With a memorable cast of teen heart-throbs like Elijah Wood, Josh Hartnett, Jordana Brewster, Clea Duvall, Usher and John Stewart (?!?) the Faculty is an awesome look into the mind of the writer of Scream and director Robert Rodriguez. Also listen for a shredded edition of High School Movie News!

Did you think we would talk teen movies on this podcast and not talk about Clueless? As if! Brian is joined by resident Clueless expert Cara Gael O'Regan returns to the slumber party to chat about one of the most ICONIC teen films of all times. Cara and Brian dish about Amy Heckerling, Cher, Dion, Amber, Paul Rudd, Alicia Silverstone and lots of fashion! We're going off the beaten path today as we cover another Galen Howard pick, the last film in the Teenage Apocalypse Series; Nowhere (1997) a film by Gregg Araki. Though the film may be hard to track down, it's worth a watch as it might be the most unique film we have ever covered on at the Slumber Party. Celebrity cameos you wouldn't believe? Check. An alien invasion? Check. Giant insects? Check. Inclusion ahead of it's time? Check. A TON of realistic heart and teenage drama? Check. A friendly came of kick the can? Of course. See you guys a Jujyfruit's Party!

They're back...and seemingly out of nowhere. No, we're not just talking about Brian and the godfather of the Cageclub Podcast Network Joey Lewandowski, but the gang's all here (mostly) for the Netflix's The Babysitter: Killer Queen. You may remember that Joey stopped by to chat The Babysitter during out Babysitting summer and he's returned to chat the sequel and some more (or maybe not enough) Samara Weaving, McG, Bella Thorne and more! Does the sequel surpass the original? We'll let you know, trust us.
