Beyond weird pictures of monkeys and such, NFTs are pushing the frontier of what it means to own digital property, experience community, and join the Web 3.0 ecosystem. Ben Kovalis, founder and CMO of EpoLabs by Art AI, jumped on the NFT bandwagon when he and his co-founder decided to embark on the path of creating an artificial intelligence art generation system based on words people input into the system. Ideally, it could be used to create the art pieces often associated with NFTs. Though not originally coming from art and design, Ben realized the attraction of such a tool and, apparently, so did others, to the point that when the team launched their first project they quickly turned into overnight successes with their Eponym collection. Today, Ben and his team are revolutionizing the NFT space with AI-generated art that soon may be the industry standard when it comes to Web 3.0 art and more!

Startup investments come in many different forms and are critical resources entrepreneurs can leverage to push their ventures forward. Yet, not all investors are created equal and not all investments are necessarily right for each founder. Renana Ashkenazi, General Partner at Grove Ventures, a leading VC started by Israeli high-tech legend Dov Moran, lays down her criteria for what she believes to be the foundation of a startup worthy of investment. As Renana hints, beyond doing their homework, they must show it, proving that strong teams combined with product-market validation is the way to convince an investor and successfully raise a round.

There's truth in the saying that sometimes coming from outside of a situation gives you added perspective. At other times, familiarity with a specific industry or market actually gives you the ability to come from inside and disrupt. Yariv Omer, co-founder of Reigo Investments, took this approach with his partners when trying to solve longstanding real estate financing challenges. With a high-powered tech and real estate savvy team, Reigo is on track to helping financing processes evolve for good.

Often it is the path we create for ourselves that leads us unexpectedly to some of our biggest accomplishments. Before founding Mon4t, Dr. Ziv Yekutieli, spent many years connecting between neurology and technology, dabbling in music, ex-vivo neural networks, brain signals from epileptic patients, and a PC-based model of the brain. By listening to the challenges neurologists face on a daily basis, he realized that he could use his unique experience to help them, by enabling for tele-neurology. Though not always the easiest topic to bring up to investors, Ziv has successfully navigated his startup into a prime position, providing Mon4t's products to hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, and medical device companies, now reaching out directly to the insurers. Through these channels, Mon4t's goal is to reach millions of patients who suffer from neurological conditions, and become "the google of neurological data".
