Greetings, and may grace, mercy, and peace be multiplied to you. We will be in Joshua 24 today. Towards the end of Joshua's life, the Israelites were very unfaithful, and without a strong, faithful leader to keep them accountable, Joshua didn't have a lot of hope for them staying faithful (and he was right). We are no different than the Israelites, following after our own strengths in life, and only turning to God as a last resort. Even though God forgives our sins, they still have real life consequences. When we act like the Israelites did, following after other gods, don't be surprised when trouble comes your way. Repent, turn back to Jesus, and see how He can change your life.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28 19-20
