If anything is clear from Paul's letters, all who claim to be a disciple are called children of God. But does this mean more than having a child-like faith? Join us as we are reminded of the simple and powerful truth this morning: we are children loved by God.

The word “family” is packed with meaning and experience. Family means different things to different folks. But why did Paul use a word like “family” to describe the earliest disciples? This morning we unpack an invitation from Paul’s letter to the Galatians to learn from our differences and grow into the work of being God’s family. Join us as we listen and learn together.

This morning we introduce our new series "Dear Disciples" by looking at the specific ways Paul challenges the church in Ephesus to do the hard work of discipleship. While writing to those who are "in" Ephesus but not "of" Ephesus, Paul reminds the young disciples of the importance in joining in the courageous and challenging work of God. Join us as we hear these ancient words of Paul and simply "show up" but "do" the hard work of discipleship.

Throughout the Psalms, thanksgiving is at the heart of the worshipper. As we conclude our series on “connecting the dots,” we gather again at the table with great celebration as God welcomes us and we say: “God provides food for those who fear him and is mindful of his covenant.”

The Psalmist tells us “the voice of the Lord is powerful.” It is a testimony to our faith when we can listen to God’s voice above all others and hear the powerful assurances of God’s faithfulness to us. (Psalm 29)

When life gets fuzzy and disorienting, where do we turn? Today we connect the dots of the hard spaces in our life. Join us as we thirst for the living God. Join us as we embrace the tensions in our faith. Join us as we sing in the night. (Psalm 42)

There are few times that draw our attention to God’s faithfulness in our journey through life like Senior Sunday. As we celebrate this milestone with our high school graduates, we also turn our attention to what it means to be on this journey with God, both in the large milestones, and the seemingly ordinary day-to-day. We’ll turn to the psalms to connect the dots for passage, looking to the road ahead of us, and honoring the road we’ve tread so far.

Noise. Noise can be distracting, intrusive, and even disorienting. But this morning the noise is “joyful” and it is filled with gladness and thanksgiving. As we begin to connect the dots of our lives, we start with praise. This morning we gather and discover a life-giving noise that leads us to the heart of our faithful creator.

This morning, God is going to do battle with Abraham and ask him to make the impossible sacrifice. Are we willing to see ourselves in Abraham’s shoes and make whatever sacrifice God requires of us? Join us as we finish our series in one of the most difficult rooms of all - the classroom. God has invited us to trust a view that offers little hope and assurance. Are we willing?

Abram and God have been walking together a very long time. And yet, there is still little sign of a promised heir to both Abram and his wife, Sarai. So God comes again to Abram with an invitation to trust in a covenant that will be the confirmation of blessing. Join us this morning as we listen to the intense and intimate conversation about promises and timing. The air in the living room this morning is thick with anticipation and hope; God is making an everlasting promise that will make good on the promises made long ago. Are we willing to trust God’s timing over our own?
