Highlander First Footage at CinemaCon

Amazon MGM Studios debuted the first action-packed footage for its highly anticipated Highlander reboot, directed by Chad Stahelski (John Wick). Henry Cavill, who stars as the immortal sword-master Connor MacLeod, introduced the footage via a video message from the film's set in Scotland. The preview showcased stylish, John Wick-esque sword fights and confirmed MacLeod's origins, with the character stating he was born in 1518. The footage also revealed Dave Bautista as the villainous Kurgan and teased a massive, time-spanning showdown that ended with the iconic catchphrase: "There can be only one."
