Highlander rewatched recently teamed up with Highlander heart and the blood of kings podcast to help celebrate the 35th anniversary of the original Highlander motion picture. As part of that celebration we are running a pretty amazing contest with some incredible prizes including a very rare one of a kind item that Highlander fans will not want to miss. Things get steamy when Duncan reunites with his former wife Kate (who he stabbed on their wedding night to trigger her immortality), but Kell is waiting in the wings to stick a gloved finger in her mouth. The Rewatchers ogle some buns, break down some cool editing, and learn that “lived” spelled backwards is duuuuuuuuumb.

Joe and Methos break Duncan out of Watcher jail (by killing lots of people?) to share a bunch of immortal stats and then drop him off at a cemetery where Connor and Kell just happen to be waiting. The Rewatchers go deep on Connor's bowl cut, bust out their own immortal headcount, and give you the chance to play the original DVD trivia.

The Rewatchers continue to churn through this movie with alarming speed! In flashbacks, Connor teaches Duncan the spirit bomb (... er... a confusing sword headlock) and they team up to threaten WWE superstar Edge with castration. In the present day, Kell's goons learn to fly their motorcycles up to the second story of Connor's loft to attack Duncan with a bizarre array of weapons. The Rewatchers discuss Faith's immortal wardrobe collection, call out their favorite one-liners, and wonder why Donnie Yen isn't Duncan's final boss.

The punishment continues when Kell’s menagerie of goons put on their dumbest hats to raid a Watcher installation called the “Sanctuary,” where they keep comatose immortals prisoner. The Rewatchers discuss Duncan’s Jedi visions, compare versions of an all-monk killing spree, and wonder why Connor volunteered to be in an isolation chamber where all he can do is remember his dead mom.

Connor dresses like a drab X-Man to reminisce about the time a young priest named Jacob Kell helped burn Connor's mother at the stake to prevent... a plague (maybe)? The Rewatchers celebrate the return of Beatie Edney, try to figure out where Kell gets off swearing revenge, and wonder why you would build an immortal sanctuary anywhere but holy ground.

The Rewatchers dive face first into the opening scene of Endgame and, oh boy, do they have questions! In the baffling first moments of Highlander IV, Duncan orders a hotdog, Connor runs away, and Rachel explodes (in that order). The Rewatchers break down the different cuts of this movie, discuss the opening narration, and review the deleted Christmas tree scene.
