There are times when following the Lord’s plan and purpose for our lives can be challenging and down right hard. The good news is, we don’t have to do it alone or in our own strength! Knowing how to adjust our mindset and do a different take can help us persevere instead of losing heart.

Your life = Your sermon. How you live tells some people all they may know about Jesus. The Apostle Paul concludes his letter to his protege Timothy with a strong encouragement to preach the Word, fight the good fight, and finish the race, and we too can be stirred up by his words to start living like we were truly meant to.

Are you prepared for when things get worse? In 2 Timothy, Paul warns his mentee that people will become more selfish, everyone who wants to live godly lives will get persecuted for it, and the truth will get harder to find. How can we apply his wisdom in this present age when "normal" doesn't necessarily mean right and our need for approval makes not fitting in tough?

When Scripture talks about "the fear of the Lord," however, it involves a deep reverence, awe, and respect for His holiness, power, and authority. This kind of fear is actually a gift, and we need to understand why that is if we are to lived transformed lives.
