Hindsightless

Today I go in to a bit of detail on my thought process while making a new character and I pose a question as to the difference between niche protection and party balance. Do you have the answer? I also go into a little bit about the Bible at the very end so that’ll be fun.

My last session of Curse of the Crimson Throne was so hectic and gnarly that I need to tell you about it! But first, Jason needs to clear the air and Goblin'sHenchman has something to say about shields.

Ever had a session that just goes super wrong? I have. Let’s talk about it. I also have calls from Jason and the Raven God himself, Joe Salvador. It’s the calls that really make the show and I just hope anchor doesn’t take that away from us.

That's right, folks. I talk a lot about what it takes to be a good player, but it's all lies. Lies, I tell ya! My dirty little secret has had the brilliant light of truth shined upon it and I must come clean. Karl and Jason also have some Rules Cyclopedia thoughts to share. Let's see if Anchor can keep the segments straight this time. It's a good episode?

Today we talk about mind control, my Rules Cyclopedia character, if there's any reason to buy a shield in Rules Cyclopedia, missing players, assigning RPG homework, and The Legend of Vox Machina. Lastly, Jason  gives us a robust retrospective on the different editions of D&D throughout time. It's a real smorgasbord of an episode!

A big shout out to Jason, John and Karl for the calls! Couldn't have done it without you!

Welcome to the JJ Ranch, just don't shift us to the right. I got Jason and John with me today and they got some stuff to say. I also talk about the character I'm making for an upcoming one shot of Rule Cyclopedia in which I'll be playing soon. I promise, this episode is 100% content free.

Just me today, folks. I have a couple things I want to talk about, so I thought we'd have us a little sit down. Two situations  arose during my most recent session of Curse of the Crimson Throne that you might find interesting, and I thought I'd share them with you. Also, I  just finished watching the new Amazon Prime show, Legend of Vox Machina. It's a new cartoon based off the Critical Role actual play. You may or may not know that I'm not the world's biggest Critical Role fan, but what did I think of the show? Find out now!

He's right. Your welcome.

Tonight we dive into the mysteries of what one man said and another man heard. The signs and portents are there. The codes have been passed. The cyphers have been broken. We'll plumb the depths of truth and peel back the still living skin of reality.

On a more somber note, R.I.P. Ivan Reitman. You will be missed.

Well it's lady's night and I'm feeling right. A pair of wonderful calls from the amazing Julz from NZ and the radiant Lieren from Updates from the Middle of Nowhere. I'm one lucky former lady!
