The beauty industry has had a lot said about it. Well in this episode we decided to take a look at how the technology from the last few centuries has impacted it and the effect it has had on culture throughout the ages. Some beautiful things comes from Tragedy. Wood is only smooth after it's sanded. In this episode we talk about the tragic history about some ingenous craftmen from the late 18th to early 19th century. Slave made furniture is unique in it's origin and craftmanship and commands respect in any collection to this day.

This one was a lot of fun. We delve into the orgin of lead toys, specifically toy soldiers and wind up talking about the affinity for toys related to war. We have a lot of fun and bicker back and forth a little about some interesting topics.
