Yozzers! Episode 17 is a real barn burner!  This week the boys are joined by the amazing energy of Denver Comedy Legend Nancy Norton! (Nic Mom, Evening at the Improv, Dry Bar, Winner of the Seattle and Boston Comedy Competitions)  Nancy helps the boys open their hearts, she explains what it was like growing up in the Ozarks, her battle with her true self, Love, comedy, and Hot Pink Joints! All this and more as she seamlessly merges into Zac and AJ's pinball style of communication. And When the smoke clears, we find out if Nancy Norton is in fact a Hippie or not.

This week on Episode 16 of Hippie Not Hippie: 

Zac is unfortunately having back spasms, as he talks about his predictions for his southern tour with Brett Hiker, and it reminds AJ about the time he was detained at the Canadian border. They talk about the Funny Final Four, recent shows in Boulder, Trinidad, and the love of small towns but their need for the big city life. The boys also revisit The "Crawl Space Reel" on instagram and some of the outlandish commitments they received. They touch on Colorado's Legal mushrooms, and dive into their liabilities with the (Hippie Not Hippie) Dead and Company ticket package give away.  The three most revengeful Zodiac signs, Hippie warriors, The man who refused to leave during the eruption of Mount St. Helens, and the disintegration of Zac's algorithm. 

The boys launch their Dead and Co ticket give away. Zac talks about his southern tour. AJ tells stories of performing in Boulder. Zac does the knotty show, bdsm, ropeplay, cosplay foxes, and more. Zac gets a call from someone who narced on him as a kid and they apologize. They talk about the boot and forestry camps that were around in Zac's childhood and how eventually they were shut down when some kids died. They talk about skipping school when they were young. AJ talks about how they still have physical punishment when he was in school. They talk about nutmeg, morning glory seeds, Dramamine. Zac tells a story about impersonating Matt's father to talk to a priest after everyone on a church trip puked on Dramamine on the bus. Brian gets too high.

The boys talk with their first guest Dr. Kevin Fitzgerald (Comedian, Veterinarian, Bouncer, DIA train voice, and Story Teller). 

Dr. Kev tells us what he thinks it means to be a Hippie. We talk about how birth control changed the country, growing up in the 60's, and how everyone thinks their generations music is the best. 

AJ and Zac hear bouncing stories about John Denver, Billie Graham, The Rolling Stones, Diana Ross, Wu-Tang and Gracie Slick from Jefferson Airplane. Along with some flashbacks to historic concerts.

They learn how a man that could be considered a tough guy fell in love with animals.

Kevin talks about his wild first attempts at Comedy (one involved live chickens) and starting out in the 80's. 

He tells the boys a bit about Irish Folklore after they discover he's a Libra and learn his opinions on crystals, incense, and patchouli.

The boys start the show but are interrupted when Zac almost gets a parking ticket. This leads them down a long tangent about how tickets (carnivals, festivals, parking, concerts, sports games) are usually synonymous with getting screwed and very Not Hippie. They talk about their recent gigs. AJ crashes from the testosterone. They get into 51 Hippie hairstyles. Zac talks about his new doctor and AJ talks about the time one hit on him. Patchouli, Barbasol, yoga farts, and FUPAS enter the mix too.
