Hello in the chair Mr Jack McEwan, guest co-host and part of Psychedelic Porn Crumpets!

This episode!

1. Spotify released they're yearly personalised advertising campaign - Spotify Wrapped. It's a clever and insightful - who are we kidding, you've probably already gone through yours. For Apple Music subscribers, they received a 'version' of Spotify's offering. An article in The Verge kicked off this discussion.
2. Vinyl just keeps coming back. And back. First in Victoria, then again in Victoria and now in QLD. Brisbane is getting a vinyl press come March 2022. A couple sold their house to make it happen, as seen on ABC.net.au
3. Under the guise of Mr 80% AKA Mark McGowan, Perth's Psychedelic Porn Crumpets are big in Melbourne, LA and The Netherlands. They've found a unique path where they can release almost whatever they want, and if you don't like it, it wasn't made for you!

This episode!

1. Anderson .Paak's new label focuses on live and instrumental performance. Divergent from kids making stuff on their computer in the bedroom. Good vibes about the prospect of this one.
2. Succession (the hit HBO show) used/synced Rape Me by Nirvana in episode 3 of season 3. Courtney Love is happy about it and more money goes to the Nirvana estate. Syncs can be bloody good for artists, see iPod ad + Jet.
3. Ngaiire's latest album leans into haunting themes of death that, Sose and Ngaiire explain, are more an extension of Pacific culture rather than the deep melancholy of loss.
