HMS Hood visit 100th anniversary

100 years ago, HMS Hood was anchored in our hood. The largest warship built at the time, it was part of a Royal Navy Squadron making a historic visit. Why were battle cruisers anchored off Topsail Beach? A retired lieutenant commander with the Royal Canadian Navy who's been researching the events of 100 years ago drops by the On The Go studio for a chat in advance of The Royal Newfoundland Yacht Club's special luncheon to mark the 100th anniversary.
