Éxodo 29: Santificación del Sacerdote.

Éxodo 29:4-21:
4 Harás que Aarón y sus hijos se acerquen a la entrada del tabernáculo de reunión, y los lavarás con agua. 5 Tomarás las vestiduras y vestirás a Aarón con el vestido, la túnica del efod, el efod y el pectoral, y lo sujetarás con el ceñidor del efod. 6 Pondrás el turbante sobre su cabeza, y sobre el turbante pondrás la diadema sagrada. 7 Luego tomarás el aceite de la unción y lo derramarás sobre su cabeza; así lo ungirás. 8 Luego harás que se acerquen sus hijos y los vestirás con los vestidos. 9 Ceñirás los cinturones a Aarón y a sus hijos, y les pondrás los turbantes, y tendrán el sacerdocio por estatuto perpetuo. Así investirás a Aarón y a sus hijos.
10 “Luego acercarás el novillo delante del tabernáculo de reunión, y Aarón y sus hijos pondrán sus manos sobre la cabeza del novillo. 11 Degollarás el novillo delante del SEÑOR, a la entrada del tabernáculo de reunión. 12 Tomarás parte de la sangre del novillo y la pondrás con tu dedo sobre los cuernos del altar; y derramarás el resto de la sangre al pie del altar. 13 Tomarás también todo el sebo que cubre las vísceras, el sebo que está sobre el hígado y los dos riñones con el sebo que los cubre, y lo harás arder sobre el altar. 14 Pero quemarás en el fuego fuera del campamento la carne, la piel y el estiércol del novillo. Es un sacrificio por el pecado.
15 “Asimismo, tomarás uno de los carneros, y Aarón y sus hijos pondrán sus manos sobre la cabeza del carnero. 16 Degollarás el carnero, tomarás su sangre y la rociarás encima y alrededor del altar. 17 Cortarás el carnero en pedazos, lavarás sus vísceras y sus piernas, y las pondrás con sus pedazos y con su cabeza. 18 Harás arder todo el carnero sobre el altar. Es holocausto de grato olor al SEÑOR, ofrenda quemada al SEÑOR.

Este capítulo es majestuoso. Es donde Dios impone el orden del ritual que deben seguir al pie de la letra para hacer puro y santo todo el tabernáculo, pero primero comienza con los sacerdotes, que deben ser santificados antes de convertirse en instrumentos de santificación.
Aunque vas a ver mucha sangre y sacrificios, esto realmente es algo supremamente sagrado ante Dios.
Al principio podemos leer que Dios acerca a los sacerdotes ante la fuente de bronce para ser lavados por Moisés. Esto es un ejemplo claro de que el bautismo en agua es importante antes de que podamos servir a Dios como sacerdotes. Antes de ser santificados debemos ser lavados.
Después de ser vestidos con las vestiduras sacerdotales que estudiamos ayer, debían estar ungidos con aceite, simbolismo del Espíritu Santo.
Después vemos las diferentes clases de sacrificios que debían hacer. El primero era el del perdón de pecados. Debía ser ofrecido en el altar ciertas partes internas del novillo en el altar pero el resto, que es la carne y la piel, sería quemado afuera de la ciudad. ¡Ese sacrificio representa a Jesucristo, que fue sacrificado fuera de Jerusalén por nuestros pecados!
Después sigue el sacrificio del carnero como ofrenda de olor agradable. Este simboliza nuestra alabanza y adoración, ya como hijos de Dios, lavados con su sangre y perdonados.
El siguiente carnero era degollado y su sangre era recogida para un ritual muy importante: ¡La dedicación de Aarón y sus hijos como sacerdotes de Dios!
La forma de hacerlo era untando con sangre el lóbulo de la oreja derecha, los dedos pulgares de la mano y el pie derecho. Esto en señal que la mente, los ojos, los oídos y boca fueran totalmente dedicados a Dios. Lo que vean, lo que oigan y lo que digan deberá ser purificado. Esto nos enseña a que cuidemos lo que vemos, oímos, hablamos y pensamos. Así, nuestro corazón será dedicado a Dios sin impurezas de envidia, odio y malas intenciones. Todo lo que hagamos con nuestras manos deberá ser santificado y para la gloria de Dios.
Y por último, nuestros pies, donde vayamos y los lugares que frecuentamos sean lugares que honren a Dios, no lugares donde hagan impuros a los hijos de Dios.
No permitas que personas o cosas o lugares quiten la pureza que Dios te ha dado. Mas bien, ten conciencia de que lo que digas, lo que hagas o donde vayas sea para impactar ese lugar y esas personas con el mensaje de salvación, con el amor y la paz de Dios. Que sea para sanar y restaurar corazones con la autoridad que Dios te ha dado. Que guíes a cada miembro de tu hogar con palabras sabias, con tus acciones justas y con el ejemplo de tu caminar con Dios. Recuerda que la sangre de Jesús está sobre ti como sacerdote del Dios Altísimo. Haz la obra sacerdotal pura donde quiera que vayas.

Exodus 29: Sanctification of the Priest

Exodus 29:4-21:
“And Aaron and his sons you shall bring to the door of the tabernacle of meeting, and you shall wash them with water. Then you shall take the garments, put the tunic on Aaron, and the robe of the ephod, the ephod, and the breastplate, and gird him with the intricately woven band of the ephod. You shall put the turban on his head, and put the holy crown on the turban. And you shall take the anointing oil, pour it on his head, and anoint him. Then you shall bring his sons and put tunics on them. And you shall gird them with sashes, Aaron and his sons, and put the hats on them. The priesthood shall be theirs for a perpetual statute. So you shall consecrate Aaron and his sons.
“You shall also have the bull brought before the tabernacle of meeting, and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands on the head of the bull. Then you shall kill the bull before the Lord, by the door of the tabernacle of meeting. You shall take some of the blood of the bull and put it on the horns of the altar with your finger, and pour all the blood beside the base of the altar. And you shall take all the fat that covers the entrails, the fatty lobe attached to the liver, and the two kidneys and the fat that is on them, and burn them on the altar. But the flesh of the bull, with its skin and its offal, you shall burn with fire outside the camp. It is a sin offering.
“You shall also take one ram, and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands on the head of the ram; and you shall kill the ram, and you shall take its blood and sprinkle it all around on the altar. Then you shall cut the ram in pieces, wash its entrails and its legs, and put them with its pieces and with its head. And you shall burn the whole ram on the altar. It is a burnt offering to the Lord; it is a sweet aroma, an offering made by fire to the Lord.
“You shall also take the other ram, and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands on the head of the ram. Then you shall kill the ram, and take some of its blood and put it on the tip of the right ear of Aaron and on the tip of the right ear of his sons, on the thumb of their right hand and on the big toe of their right foot, and sprinkle the blood all around on the altar. And you shall take some of the blood that is on the altar, and some of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it on Aaron and on his garments, on his sons and on the garments of his sons with him; and he and his garments shall be hallowed, and his sons and his sons’ garments with him.

This chapter is majestic. It is where God imposes the order of the ritual that must be followed to the letter to make the entire tabernacle pure and holy, but first it begins with the priests, who must be sanctified before becoming instruments of sanctification.
Although you are going to see a lot of blood and sacrifices, this really is something supremely sacred before God.
At the beginning we can read that God brings the priests before the bronze basin to be washed by Moses. This is a clear example that water baptism is important before we can serve God as priests. Before being sanctified we must be washed.
After being dressed in the priestly garments that we studied yesterday, they were to be anointed with oil, symbolism of the Holy Spirit.
Then we see the different kinds of sacrifices they had to make. The first was the forgiveness of sins. Certain internal parts of the bull were to be offered on the altar but the rest, which is the meat and skin, would be burned outside the city. That sacrifice represents Jesus Christ, who was sacrificed outside of Jerusalem for our sins!
Then follow the sacrifice of the ram as a sweet incense offering. This symbolizes our praise and adoration, already as children of God, washed with His blood and forgiven.
The next ram was slaughtered and its blood collected for a very important ritual: the dedication of Aaron and his sons as priests of God!
The way to do it was by smearing blood on the lobe of the right ear, the thumbs of the hand and the right foot. This was a sign that the mind, eyes, ears and mouth were totally dedicated to God. What they see, what they hear and what they say must be purified. This teaches us to take care of what we see, hear, speak and think. Thus, our heart will be dedicated to God without impurities of envy, hatred and bad intentions. Everything we do with our hands must be sanctified and for the glory of God.
And finally, our feet, where we go and the places we frequent should be places that honor God, not places that make God's children impure.
Don't let people or things or places take away the purity that God has given you. Rather, be aware that what you say, what you do or where you go is to impact that place and those people with the message of salvation, with the love and peace of God. Let it be to heal and restore hearts with the authority that God has given you. That you guide each member of your home with wise words, with your just actions and with the example of your walk with God. Remember that the blood of Jesus is upon you as a priest of the Most High God. Do the pure priestly work wherever you go.

Éxodo 28: Vestiduras para gloria y esplendor.

Éxodo 28:36-42:
36 “Harás de oro puro una lámina en forma de flor, y grabarás en ella con grabadura de sello: ‘Consagrado al SEÑOR’. 37 La colocarás sobre un cordón azul, y estará sobre el turbante; estará en la parte delantera del turbante. 38 Estará sobre la frente de Aarón, y Aarón cargará con la culpa relacionada con las cosas sagradas que los hijos de Israel hayan consagrado, todos sus obsequios sagrados. Este es un estatuto perpetuo para él y para sus descendientes después de él.

Este capítulo es especial porque se enfoca en las vestiduras sacerdotales, con todos los accesorios que debían estar sobre el sacerdote al presentarse ante el Señor. Esta era una vestidura diseñada con detalles específicos porque cada objeto y accesorio tenía su representación y simbolismo sagrado.
Aquí vemos todos los elementos: El efod que era una especie de chaleco donde iba colgado el pectoral. El pectoral era un soporte de oro donde estaban incrustadas doce piedras preciosas simbolizando cada tribu de Israel. La túnica del efod que era un manto de color azul. El turbante que cubre la cabeza, una diadema con el título: “Consagrado al Señor”. Un cinturón, y otro manto de cuadros de lino fino.
El principal propósito era que los sacerdotes se presentaran limpios, puros, sin arruga y sin mancha. Ellos llevaban las culpas del pueblo ante el Señor, y el Señor las recibía en su presencia y así perdonaba los pecados del pueblo.

Lo que más me impresiona es que, en dos ocasiones, Dios menciona que esta vestidura es para gloria y hermosura.
Ser sacerdote no era fácil. Si el sacerdote entraba puro, las campanillas del borde sonaban. Si era impuro, no sonaban las campanillas, en señal de que Dios le había quitado la vida y era jalado por una cuerda hasta afuera del lugar santo.
Aunque era muy delicado este trabajo, también era un honor servir a Dios como sacerdote.
¡No olvides que Dios nos ha seleccionado como sus sacerdotes, y por eso debemos representar a Jesucristo con honor! No solamente en nuestra forma de vestir físicamente, sino en la vestidura espiritual que Dios nos ha dado; vestidura de pureza, justicia, redención, compasión y gracia. Dios nos vistió desde el día que entregamos nuestra vida a Él como lo afirma el apóstol Pablo en Gálatas 3:26-27: “Así que, todos son hijos de Dios por medio de la fe en Cristo Jesús porque todos los que fueron bautizados en Cristo se han revestido de Cristo.”
En ese momento, cuando saliste de las aguas del bautismo y el Nombre de Jesucristo
fue invocado sobre ti, adquiriste una nueva vestidura, ¡la sacerdotal!
Por eso debemos despojarnos de la vieja vestidura. Ya no digas más: "Así soy yo, así nací y así me quedo, etc." ¡Ahora eres una nueva criatura! Colosenses 3:9-11 dice: “No se mientan los unos a los otros; porque se han despojado del viejo hombre con sus prácticas y se han vestido del nuevo, el cual se renueva para un pleno conocimiento conforme a la imagen de aquel que lo creó.“

Así que, ¡a restaurar nuestras vestiduras, sin temor de ser diferentes, de hablar diferente, de comportarnos a la altura de un sacerdote del Dios viviente! Somos intercesores de Dios por nuestros hogares, y por nuestro prójimo que tanto necesitan de un guía que los dirija hacia Dios.

Exodus 28: Garments for glory and splendor.

Exodus 28:36-42:
“You shall also make a plate of pure gold and engrave on it, like the engraving of a signet: HOLINESS TO THE LORD.
And you shall put it on a blue cord, that it may be on the turban; it shall be on the front of the turban. So it shall be on Aaron’s forehead, that Aaron may bear the iniquity of the holy things which the children of Israel hallow in all their holy gifts; and it shall always be on his forehead, that they may be accepted before the Lord.
“You shall skillfully weave the tunic of fine linen thread, you shall make the turban of fine linen, and you shall make the sash of woven work.
“For Aaron’s sons you shall make tunics, and you shall make sashes for them. And you shall make hats for them, for glory and beauty. So you shall put them on Aaron your brother and on his sons with him. You shall anoint them, consecrate them, and sanctify them, that they may minister to Me as priests. And you shall make for them linen trousers to cover their nakedness; they shall reach from the waist to the thighs.

This chapter is special because it focuses on the priestly vestments, with all the accessories that should be on the priest when presenting himself before the Lord. This was a garment designed with specific details because each object and accessory had its representation and sacred symbolism.
Here we see all the elements: The ephod that was a kind of vest where the pectoral was hung. The pectoral was a gold support where twelve precious stones were embedded symbolizing each tribe of Israel. The robe of the ephod that was a blue colored mantle. The turban that covers the head, a diadem with the title: "Holiness to the Lord". A belt, and another checkered mantle of fine linen.
The main purpose was for the priests to present clean, pure, without a wrinkle and without a spot. They bore the sins of the people before the Lord, and the Lord received them in His presence and thus forgave the sins of the people.

What impresses me most is that, on two occasions, God mentions that this garment is for glory and beauty.
Being a priest was not easy. If the priest entered pure, the bells on the edge rang. If he was impure, the bells did not ring, as a sign that God had taken his life and he was pulled by a rope out of the holy place.
Although this work was very delicate, it was also an honor to serve God as a priest.
Do not forget that God has selected us as His priests, and therefore we must represent Jesus Christ with honor! Not only in our physical way of dressing, but in the spiritual clothing that God has given us; garment of purity, justice, redemption, compassion and grace. God clothed us from the day we gave our lives to Him as the apostle Paul affirms in Galatians 3:26-27: "For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.”

At that moment, when you came out of the waters of baptism and the Name of Jesus Christ
was invoked upon you, you acquired a new garment, the priestly one!
That is why we must take off the old garment. Say no more: "That's how I am, that's how I was born and that's how I stay, etc." You are now a new creature! Colossians 3:9-11 says: “Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him, where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, but Christ is all and in all.”

So, to restore our garments, without fear of being different, of speaking differently, of behaving like a priest of the living God! We are intercessors of God for our homes, and for our neighbor who so much needs a guide to direct them towards God.

Dios nos dio su autoridad en Su nombre, cuando estamos haciendo su voluntad.
17 Los setenta volvieron con gozo, diciendo:
—Señor, ¡aun los demonios se nos sujetan en tu nombre!
18 Él les dijo:
—Yo veía a Satanás caer del cielo como un rayo. 19 He aquí, les doy autoridad de pisar serpientes, escorpiones y sobre todo el poder del enemigo; y nada les dañará. 20 Sin embargo, no se regocijen de esto, de que los espíritus se les sujeten, sino regocíjense de que sus nombres están inscritos en los cielos.

Pero se debe invocar con convicción.
Hechos 19
11 Dios, por medio de Pablo, hacía milagros tan extraordinarios 12 que muchos le llevaban los paños o delantales de los enfermos, y las enfermedades desaparecían y la gente quedaba libre de espíritus malignos. 13 Andaban por ahí algunos judíos exorcistas, que intentaban invocar el nombre del Señor Jesús sobre los que tenían espíritus malignos. Les decían: «En el nombre de Jesús, a quien Pablo predica, les ordenamos salir.» 14 Los que hacían esto eran los siete hijos de un judío llamado Esceva, que era jefe de los sacerdotes; 15 pero el espíritu maligno les respondió: «Yo sé quién es Jesús, y sé también quién es Pablo; pero ustedes, ¿quiénes son?» 16 Dicho esto, el hombre que tenía el espíritu malo se arrojó sobre ellos; y los derribó con tanta fuerza que los hizo huir desnudos y heridos. 17 Esto lo supieron todos los habitantes de Éfeso, tanto judíos como griegos, y les entró mucho temor, pero magnificaban el nombre del Señor Jesús.

Éxodo 27: La Única Entrada a la Presencia de Dios.

Éxodo 27:16‭-‬21 RVA2015:
“En la entrada del atrio habrá una cortina de nueve metros de material azul, de púrpura, de carmesí y de lino torcido, obra de bordador. Sus pilares y sus bases serán cuatro. Todos los pilares alrededor del atrio estarán ceñidos de plata. Sus ganchos serán de plata, y sus bases de bronce. El atrio será de cuarenta y cinco metros de largo, de veintidós metros y medio de ancho y de dos metros veinticinco centímetros de alto. Sus mamparas serán de lino torcido; y sus bases, de bronce. “Todos los utensilios para el servicio del tabernáculo, así como todas sus estacas y las del atrio, serán de bronce. “Tú mandarás a los hijos de Israel que te traigan aceite de olivas claro y puro para la iluminación, a fin de hacer arder continuamente las lámparas. Aarón y sus hijos las dispondrán delante del SEÑOR, en el tabernáculo de reunión, fuera del velo que está delante del testimonio, desde el anochecer hasta el amanecer. Este es un estatuto perpetuo de los hijos de Israel, a través de sus generaciones.

Este capítulo abarca la construcción del altar de bronce, donde el pueblo presentaría sus ofrendas y holocaustos al Señor. Después sigue el diseño del atrio del tabernáculo, que es la entrada al tabernáculo de Dios y el lugar que los sacerdotes usaban para ofrecer los sacrificios porque allí estaban el altar y la fuente de bronce. Al final explica acerca del aceite especial y puro que debía traerse para alumbrar el tabernáculo dentro del lugar santo con el candelabro de 7 lámparas.

Quisiera hoy que detallemos la construcción de la entrada. El tabernáculo tenía solo una entrada. No había otra alternativa para acceder a la presencia de Dios. Era diseñada con una cortina especial de diferentes clases de colores.
El azul simboliza el cielo donde habita el Dios Eterno. La púrpura simboliza el reinado celestial de Dios. El carmesí simboliza la sangre derramada para redención del pecador, y el lino simboliza pureza, santidad.
Note que la entrada era sostenida por 4 columnas de plata sobre bases de bronce. El bronce simboliza la justicia de Dios, y la plata simboliza el perdón o redención.
Según varios eruditos y teólogos, ellos sugieren que los cuatro pilares simbolizan los 4 evangelios: Mateo, Marcos, Lucas y Juan.
Con estas descripciones, ¿puedes entender el significado de la puerta? ¡Esa es Jesuscristo!
¡Él Señor se identificó ante los judíos como la puerta! Lo encontraremos en Juan 10:9-10: “Yo soy la puerta; el que por mí entrare, será salvo; y entrará, y saldrá, y hallará pastos. El ladrón no viene sino para hurtar y matar y destruir; yo he venido para que tengan vida, y para que la tengan en abundancia.”

David sabía que el estar en la puerta de la presencia de Dios era mucho mejor que estar lejos. Leamos Salmos 84:10: “Porque mejor es un día en tus atrios que mil fuera de ellos. Escogería antes estar a la puerta de la casa de mi Dios, que habitar en las moradas de maldad.”

¡No hay ningún placer terrenal que supere el estar en la presencia del Señor! El salmista David sabía que Dios era la misma puerta a la bendición, por eso buscaba siempre el camino de Dios y entrar por sus puertas. Salmos 86:11 dice: “Enséñame, oh Jehová, tu camino; caminaré yo en tu verdad; afirma mi corazón para que tema tu nombre.”

Más adelante, David testifica la bendición de haber entrado por esta puerta como dice en Salmos 119:30: “Escogí el camino de la verdad; he puesto tus juicios delante de mí.”

Así que, no resistas más la voz de Dios que te llama y te dice: “Entra a mi presencia; recibe el perdón, la redención y la salvación”. Si algún día te alejaste del Señor, ¡tienes que entrar por la misma puerta! No hay otra religión, ni otro maestro, ni otro salvador, ni otro credo.
¡Entra con toda tu familia y habiten en los atrios del Señor!

Exodus 27: The Only Entrance to the Presence of God.

Exodus 27:16-21:
“For the gate of the court there shall be a screen twenty cubits long, woven of blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and fine woven linen, made by a weaver. It shall have four pillars and four sockets. All the pillars around the court shall have bands of silver; their hooks shall be of silver and their sockets of bronze. The length of the court shall be one hundred cubits, the width fifty throughout, and the height five cubits, made of fine woven linen, and its sockets of bronze. All the utensils of the tabernacle for all its service, all its pegs, and all the pegs of the court, shall be of bronze.
“And you shall command the children of Israel that they bring you pure oil of pressed olives for the light, to cause the lamp to burn continually. In the tabernacle of meeting, outside the veil which is before the Testimony, Aaron and his sons shall tend it from evening until morning before the Lord. It shall be a statute forever to their generations on behalf of the children of Israel.

This chapter covers the construction of the bronze altar, where the people would present their offerings and burnt offerings to the Lord. Then follows the design of the court of the tabernacle, which is the entrance to the tabernacle of God and the place that the priests used to offer the sacrifices because the altar and the bronze laver (basin) were there. At the end it explains about the special and pure oil that had to be attracted to light the tabernacle inside the holy place with the lampstand of seven lamps.

Today I would like us to detail the construction of the entrance. The tabernacle had only one entrance. There was no other alternative to access the presence of God. It was designed with a special curtain of different kinds of colors.
Blue symbolizes the sky where the Eternal God dwells. Purple symbolizes the heavenly reign of God. Crimson symbolizes the blood shed for the sinner's redemption, and linen symbolizes purity, holiness.
Note that the entrance was supported by 4 silver columns on bronze bases. The bronze symbolizes the justice of God, and the silver symbolizes forgiveness or redemption.
According to various scholars and theologians, they suggest that the four pillars symbolize the 4 gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
With these descriptions, can you understand the meaning of the door? That is Jesus Christ!
The Lord identified Himself to the Jews as the door! We will find it in John 10:9-10: “I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”

David knew that being at the door of God's presence was far better than being far away. Let's read Psalm 84:10: “For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.”

There is no earthly pleasure that surpasses being in the presence of the Lord! The psalmist David knew that God was the very door to blessing, that is why he always sought God's way and entered through his doors. Psalm 86:11 says: “Teach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth; unite my heart to fear Your name.

Further on, David testifies to the blessing of having entered through this gate as Psalms 119:30 says: “I have chosen the way of truth; Your judgments I have laid before me.”

So do not resist the voice of God that calls you and tells you: “Come into My presence; receive forgiveness, redemption and salvation.” If one day you walked away from the Lord, you have to enter through the same door! There is no other religion, no other teacher, no other savior, no other creed.
Enter with all your family and dwell in the courts of the Lord!

Éxodo 26: Tabernáculos Vivientes para Dios

Éxodo 26:30-37:
30 Y levantarás el tabernáculo conforme al modelo que te ha sido mostrado en el monte.
31 “Harás también un velo de material azul, de púrpura, de carmesí y de lino torcido, decorado con querubines, obra de fina artesanía. 32 Lo pondrás sobre cuatro pilares de madera de acacia recubiertos de oro, con sus ganchos de oro sobre las cuatro bases de plata. 33 Harás colgar el velo de los ganchos. Introducirás detrás del velo el arca del testimonio. Ahora, en este capítulo vemos la orden con detalles precisos para elaborar los elementos que compondrán el tabernáculo en el desierto. Tienes que usar mucho tu imaginación para que visualices el tabernáculo en todo su esplendor. El lugar santo y santísimo es una edificación de tablas de madera, cubierta de un techo de telas y pieles; a su vez, la rodeará una cortina especial. Todo esto estaría sostenido de columnas de madera cubiertas de oro, y de bronce y plata, según su ubicación en el tabernáculo. Este tabernáculo fue diseñado por Dios. Es el lugar donde el pueblo traería sacrificios para recibir el perdón de sus faltas y traer ofrendas de paz. Allí se encontrarían con el mismo Dios.

Estos detalles de la forma en que el lugar santísimo sería cubierto es símbolo de la forma en que ¡Dios también vendría miles de años después a la humanidad! Este Dios vino al mundo y su nombre sería Jesús, que significa “Él salva a Su pueblo”; y Emanuel, que significa “Dios con nosotros''.
El mismo Dios que se manifestó en una columna de fuego, es el mismo que descendería al mundo vestido de carne y hueso. Despojando Su gloria y majestad para transformarse en un humano: un cuerpo débil, limitado y propenso a las tentaciones.
Ese tabernáculo de carne sirvió para que la gloria de Dios pudiera habitar en medio de los pecadores. ¡Y en vez de consumir al pecador, lo limpió, restauró y le dio la salvación!
La gran diferencia entre Jesús y nosotros es que Él mantuvo su vida limpia y pura, y nunca cayó en pecado. De esa forma fue que Él pudo vencer la muerte, el mundo y el infierno para que ahora nosotros pudiéramos tener acceso a la presencia de Dios y acercarnos a Él.
Ahora, ¡tú y yo somos tabernáculos del Dios viviente! ¡Tu cuerpo ahora le pertenece al Señor y podemos llevar la presencia de Dios a todo lugar porque ahora habita en nuestros corazones!
Por eso cuando tocamos alguna impureza haciendo cosas que no le agradan a Dios, el Señor se entristece, y su Espíritu se contrista en nosotros.
Por eso debemos purificar nuestros corazones continuamente en la presencia de Dios para que su fuego no se apague y podamos llevar paz, vida, fortaleza, sanidad y salvación dentro de nuestro hogar, a nuestro lugar de estudio y de trabajo, y así poder ser un instrumento en las manos de Dios.
Recuerda las palabras del apóstol Pablo en 2 Corintios 6:16: "¿Qué acuerdo puede haber entre un templo de Dios y los ídolos? Porque nosotros somos templo del Dios viviente, como Dios dijo: Habitaré y andaré entre ellos. Yo seré su Dios, y ellos serán mi pueblo."
Y en 1 Corintios 6:18-20: "Huyan de la inmoralidad sexual. Cualquier otro pecado que el hombre cometa está fuera del cuerpo, pero el inmoral sexual peca contra su propio cuerpo. ¿O no saben que su cuerpo es templo del Espíritu Santo, que mora en ustedes, el cual tienen de Dios, y que no son de ustedes? Pues han sido comprados por precio. Por tanto, glorifiquen a Dios en su cuerpo."

Cuidemos nuestro cuerpo de abstenernos de toda clase de ídolos en el corazón, y de caer en promiscuidad. Conserva el templo manteniéndolo puro.

Exodus 26: God's Living tabernacles

Exodus 26:30-37:
And you shall raise up the tabernacle according to its pattern which you were shown on the mountain.
“You shall make a veil woven of blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and fine woven linen. It shall be woven with an artistic design of cherubim. You shall hang it upon the four pillars of acacia wood overlaid with gold. Their hooks shall be gold, upon four sockets of silver. And you shall hang the veil from the clasps. Then you shall bring the ark of the Testimony in there, behind the veil. The veil shall be a divider for you between the holy place and the Most Holy. You shall put the mercy seat upon the ark of the Testimony in the Most Holy. You shall set the table outside the veil, and the lampstand across from the table on the side of the tabernacle toward the south; and you shall put the table on the north side.
“You shall make a screen for the door of the tabernacle, woven of blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and fine woven linen, made by a weaver. And you shall make for the screen five pillars of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold; their hooks shall be gold, and you shall cast five sockets of bronze for them.

Now, in this chapter we see the order with precise details to elaborate the elements that will make up the tabernacle in the desert. You have to use your imagination to visualize the tabernacle in all its splendor. The holy and most holy place is a building made of wooden boards, covered with a roof of fabrics and skins; in turn, a special curtain will surround it. All this would be supported by wooden columns covered with gold, and bronze and silver, depending on their location in the tabernacle. This tabernacle was designed by God. It is the place where the people would bring sacrifices to receive forgiveness for their faults and bring peace offerings. There they would meet God Himself.

These details of how the most holy place would be covered is symbolic of how God would also come thousands of years later to mankind! This God came to the world and His name would be Jesus, which means “He saves His people”; and Emmanuel, which means “God with us”.
The same God who manifested Himself in a pillar of fire, is the same One who would descend into the world clothed in flesh and blood. Stripping away His glory and majesty to become a human: a body that is weak, limited and prone to temptations.
That tabernacle of flesh served so that the glory of God could dwell in the midst of sinners. And instead of consuming the sinner, He cleansed, restored and gave salvation!
The big difference between Jesus and us is that He kept His life clean and pure, and never fell into sin. In this way He was able to overcome death, the world and hell so that now we could have access to the presence of God and draw closer to Him.
Now, you and I are tabernacles of the living God! Your body now belongs to the Lord and we can bring the presence of God everywhere because now it dwells in our hearts!
That is why when we touch some impurity by doing things that do not please God, the Lord is saddened, and His Spirit is saddened in us.
That is why we must continually purify our hearts in the presence of God so that His fire does not go out and we can bring peace, life, strength, healing and salvation within our home, to our place of study and work, and thus be able to be an instrument in the hands of God.
Remember the words of the apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 6:16: “And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people”.”
And in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20: “Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.”

Let us take care of our body from abstaining from all kinds of idols in the heart, and from falling into promiscuity. Preserve the temple by keeping it pure.

Cuando oramos y ayunamos, en ese tiempo se medita en la palabra, se ora, se afina el oido a la voz de Dios y se recibe una autoridad especial de parte de Dios.

Éxodo 25: Escogidos para ser luz.

Éxodo 25:31-37:
“Harás un candelabro de oro puro modelado a martillo. El candelabro con su base, su tallo, sus cálices, sus botones y sus flores será de una sola pieza. Seis brazos saldrán de sus lados: tres brazos del candelabro de un lado, y tres brazos del candelabro del otro lado. Habrá tres cálices en forma de flor de almendro en un brazo, con un botón y una flor; y tres cálices en forma de flor de almendro en el otro brazo, con un botón y una flor; así en los seis brazos que salen del candelabro. En el tallo del candelabro habrá cuatro cálices en forma de flor de almendro, con sus botones y sus flores. Habrá un botón debajo de dos brazos del mismo, otro botón debajo de otros dos brazos del mismo, y otro botón debajo de los otros dos brazos del mismo; así con los seis brazos que salen del candelabro. No olvides leer todo el capítulo completo desde el principio. En los siguientes capítulos vamos a ver las direcciones de Dios para que su pueblo construyera su tabernáculo y todos los elementos que lo componen; es una carpa gigante que serviría de templo para que Dios se manifieste en medio de su pueblo. Recuerda que cada elemento tiene su representación y simbolismo espiritual.
En los primeros versos de este capítulo, leemos que recogen una ofrenda voluntaria de una gran variedad de materiales: maderas, textiles, metales preciosos, cueros finos, etc.
Después vemos la lista de los primeros utensilios como el arca del pacto, el propiciatorio que era la tapa del arca con un diseño especial. Más adelante explicaremos su función. También la mesa de la presencia, y el candelabro.
Cada uno tiene su simbolismo y gran significado. Hoy quiero que nos enfoquemos en el candelabro. Es muy interesante la forma que Dios dijo que debía ser moldeado con martillo solamente, en vez de usar un molde. Esto nos da a entender que muchas veces Dios usa circunstancias duras para moldearnos, poco a poco, pues cada golpe no es para quebrarnos sino para formarnos y hacernos una pieza valiosa de metal precioso.
El candelabro de siete lámparas representa a cada uno de nosotros. En Apocalipsis 1, Juan tuvo una visión donde vio al Señor rodeado de 7 candeleros. Él explica que estos representan 7 iglesias. ¡Tú, tu familia y cada creyente es parte de una iglesia glorificada por el Espíritu de Dios!
Este candelabro tenía 7 lámparas. El 7 representa el número de la perfección. Cada lámpara era llenada con aceite de oliva, el mismo aceite con el que se ungía a los sacerdotes y al pueblo. El Espíritu de Dios, cuando entra al corazón del creyente, purifica su alma y ese creyente comienza a alumbrar donde quiera que va. Irradia el amor de Dios, compasión, empatía, honestidad, integridad; y da palabras que transmiten vida, fortaleza, y esperanza.

¡Jesucristo es la luz del mundo! Alumbró nuestras vidas con el mensaje de las buenas nuevas de salvación, y ahora nosotros somos los que llevamos Su luz a todas las naciones.
Fue el mismo Señor Jesucristo que nos enseñó esta verdad, lo leemos en Mateo 5:14-16: “Ustedes son la luz del mundo. Una ciudad asentada sobre un monte no puede ser escondida. Tampoco se enciende una lámpara para ponerla debajo de un cajón, sino sobre el candelero; y así alumbrar a todos los que están en la casa. Así alumbre la luz de ustedes delante de los hombres, de modo que vean sus buenas obras y glorifiquen a su Padre que está en los cielos.”

Soy tu hermano y amigo Eduardo Rodríguez. Que el Señor escuche su oración, te llene del Espíritu Santo y que tu familia sea un candelabro que alumbre la luz de Jesús donde quiera que vayan.

Exodus 25: Chosen to be light.

Exodus 25:31-37:
“You shall also make a lampstand of pure gold; the lampstand shall be of hammered work. Its shaft, its branches, its bowls, its ornamental knobs, and flowers shall be of one piece. And six branches shall come out of its sides: three branches of the lampstand out of one side, and three branches of the lampstand out of the other side. Three bowls shall be made like almond blossoms on one branch, with an ornamental knob and a flower, and three bowls made like almond blossoms on the other branch, with an ornamental knob and a flower—and so for the six branches that come out of the lampstand. On the lampstand itself four bowls shall be made like almond blossoms, each with its ornamental knob and flower. And there shall be a knob under the first two branches of the same, a knob under the second two branches of the same, and a knob under the third two branches of the same, according to the six branches that extend from the lampstand. Their knobs and their branches shall be of one piece; all of it shall be one hammered piece of pure gold. You shall make seven lamps for it, and they shall arrange its lamps so that they give light in front of it.

Don't forget to read the entire chapter from the beginning. In the following chapters we are going to see God's directions for His people to build their tabernacle and all the elements that compose it; it is a giant tent that would serve as a temple for God to manifest Himself in the midst of His people. Remember that each element has its representation and spiritual symbolism.
In the opening verses of this chapter, we read that they collect a freewill offering from a wide variety of materials: woods, textiles, precious metals, fine hides, etc.
Then we see the list of the first utensils such as the ark of the covenant, the mercy seat that was the lid of the ark with a special design. We will explain its function later. Also the table of presence and the candlestick.
Each one has its symbolism and great meaning. Today I want us to focus on the lampstand. It is very interesting how God said that it should be shaped with a hammer only, instead of using a mold. This gives us the understanding that many times God uses hard circumstances to mold us, little by little, because each blow is not to break us but to form us and make us a valuable piece of precious metal.
The lampstand of seven lamps represents each one of us. In Revelation 1, John had a vision where he saw the Lord surrounded by 7 candlesticks. He explains that these represent 7 churches. You, your family and every believer is part of a church glorified by the Spirit of God!
This lampstand had 7 lamps. 7 represents the number of perfection. Each lamp was filled with olive oil, the same oil with which the priests and the people were anointed. The Spirit of God, when it enters the heart of the believer, purifies his soul and that believer begins to shine wherever he goes. Radiate the love of God, compassion, empathy, honesty, integrity; and give words that convey life, strength, and hope.

Jesus Christ is the light of the world! He illuminated our lives with the message of the good news of salvation, and now we are the ones who carry His light to all nations.
It was the Lord Jesus Christ Himself who taught us this truth, we read it in Matthew 5:14-16: “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Éxodo 24: Pasos para formar una comunión íntima con Dios.
Éxodo 24:1-11:
1 Dios dijo a Moisés: —Suban ante el SEÑOR, tú, Aarón, Nadab, Abihú y setenta de los ancianos de Israel, y se postrarán a distancia. 2 Luego se acercará Moisés solo al SEÑOR; pero no se acerquen ellos ni suba el pueblo con él.
3 Moisés fue y refirió al pueblo todas las palabras del SEÑOR y todos los decretos, y todo el pueblo respondió a una voz diciendo: —Haremos todas las cosas que el SEÑOR ha dicho.
4 Moisés escribió todas las palabras del SEÑOR. Y levantándose muy de mañana, erigió al pie del monte un altar y doce piedras según las doce tribus de Israel. 5 Luego mandó a unos jóvenes de los hijos de Israel, y estos ofrecieron holocaustos y mataron toros como sacrificios de paz al SEÑOR. 6 Moisés tomó la mitad de la sangre y la puso en tazones, y esparció la otra mitad de la sangre sobre el altar. 7 Asimismo, tomó el libro del pacto y lo leyó a oídos del pueblo, el cual dijo: —Haremos todas las cosas que el SEÑOR ha dicho, y obedeceremos.
8 Entonces Moisés tomó la sangre y roció con ella al pueblo, diciendo: —He aquí la sangre del pacto que el SEÑOR ha hecho con ustedes referente a todas estas palabras.
9 Luego Moisés, Aarón, Nadab, Abihú y setenta de los ancianos de Israel subieron, 10 y vieron al Dios de Israel. Debajo de sus pies había como un pavimento de zafiro, semejante en pureza al mismo cielo. 11 Y no extendió su mano contra los principales de los hijos de Israel. Ellos vieron a Dios, y comieron y bebieron.

No olvides leer los últimos versos de este capítulo. En este capítulo vemos el momento cuando ¡Dios llama a Moisés para que entre a Su presencia para darle las tablas de la ley escritas por Dios mismo! Pero antes, el pueblo tuvo que pasar por un ritual de purificación para poder acercarse al monte de Dios en señal de que Dios ahora estaba entablando una comunión con el pueblo de Israel, y así también poder ser dignos de recibir la ley sagrada.
Notemos que al principio Dios llamó a Moisés pero prohibió a todos los miembros del pueblo, incluyendo a los líderes y ancianos, a acercarse al monte donde Dios había descendido.
Primero, vemos que el pueblo escuchó las palabras de la ley que Dios les dio, y el pueblo aceptó obedecerlas y ponerlas en práctica. Así mismo es cuando alguien que todavía no ha hecho un pacto con Dios, no puede acercarse al Señor aunque quisiera, a menos que se comprometa a obedecer Sus mandamientos.

Segundo, vemos que Moisés escribió en un libro las palabras que Dios le dijo. Hoy cada uno de nosotros debemos tener una copia de la Palabra de Dios; ¡ahora tenemos la bendición de tener en el mundo Biblias traducidas del original a nuestro idioma para conocer y seguir Sus mandamientos!

Tercero, Moisés prosiguió en hacer un altar al Señor. Esto es señal de arrepentimiento y de voluntad para alejarse del mal y querer estar en paz con Dios. Así mismo, el Señor pide que, si queremos acercarnos a Él, debemos obedecer Sus mandamientos y, de forma voluntaria, ofrecer nuestras vidas en sacrificio como ofrenda voluntaria para renunciar a nuestros propios deseos y pedir al Señor que nos perdone.

Cuarto, de esta ofrenda vemos otro acto muy importante: el rociamiento de la sangre sobre el pueblo. Este acto es supremamente importante porque simboliza el perdón de pecados y una vida nueva. Recordemos como el pueblo fue librado de la muerte cuando vivían en Egipto, poniendo sangre en las puertas de sus hogares. ¡Hoy podemos ser rociados con la sangre de Jesús que limpia todo pecado!
Cuando bajamos a las aguas del bautismo y somos bautizados por un ministro del Señor en el Nombre de Jesucristo, ¡la sangre de Jesús lava nuestras almas y somos separados para ser un pueblo santo para Dios! Así tendremos acceso a la presencia del Señor y tendremos comunión con Él.
Leamos la visión que tuvo el apóstol Juan de los eventos que han de acontecer en cielo en
Apocalipsis 7:13-15: "Uno de los ancianos me preguntó diciendo: —Estos que están vestidos con vestiduras blancas, ¿quiénes son y de dónde han venido? Y yo le dije: —Señor mío, tú lo sabes. Y él me dijo: —Estos son los que vienen de la gran tribulación; han lavado sus vestidos y los han emblanquecido en la sangre del Cordero. Por esto están delante del trono de Dios y le rinden culto de día y de noche en su templo. El que está sentado en el trono extenderá su tienda sobre ellos."

Por último, note en el verso 9 que ¡ellos miraron una manifestación del Dios invisible! ¡El suelo donde Dios estaba era de un color azul puro! Además, comieron en la presencia de Dios, señal de que Dios se agradó de ellos, pues estaban limpios con la sangre del sacrificio y estaban disfrutando de la comunión íntima con Dios.
Proverbios 3:32 dice: “... porque el SEÑOR abomina al perverso, pero su íntima comunión es con los rectos.”

Exodus 24: Steps to form an intimate communion with God.
Exodus 24:1-12:
Now He said to Moses, “Come up to the Lord, you and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, and worship from afar. And Moses alone shall come near the Lord, but they shall not come near; nor shall the people go up with him.”
So Moses came and told the people all the words of the Lord and all the judgments. And all the people answered with one voice and said, “All the words which the Lord has said we will do.” And Moses wrote all the words of the Lord. And he rose early in the morning, and built an altar at the foot of the mountain, and twelve pillars according to the twelve tribes of Israel. Then he sent young men of the children of Israel, who offered burnt offerings and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen to the Lord. And Moses took half the blood and put it in basins, and half the blood he sprinkled on the altar. Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read in the hearing of the people. And they said, “All that the Lord has said we will do, and be obedient.” And Moses took the blood, sprinkled it on the people, and said, “This is the blood of the covenant which the Lord has made with you according to all these words.”
Then Moses went up, also Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, and they saw the God of Israel. And there was under His feet as it were a paved work of sapphire stone, and it was like the very heavens in its clarity. But on the nobles of the children of Israel He did not lay His hand. So they saw God, and they ate and drank.

Don't forget to read the last verses of this chapter. In this chapter we see the moment when God calls Moses into His presence to give him the tablets of the law written by God Himself! But first, the people had to go through a purification ritual to be able to approach the mountain of God as a sign that God was now establishing a communion with the people of Israel, and thus also be able to be worthy of receiving the sacred law.
Note that at the beginning God called Moses but forbade all the members of the people, including the leaders and elders, to approach the mountain where God had descended.
First, we see that the people listened to the words of the law that God gave them, and the people agreed to obey and put them into practice. It is the same when someone, who has not yet made a covenant with God, cannot approach the Lord even if he wanted to, unless he commits to obey His commandments.

Second, we see that Moses wrote in a book the words that God spoke to him. Today each one of us must have a copy of the Word of God; now we have the blessing of having Bibles in the world translated from the original to our language to know and follow His commandments!

Third, Moses went on to make an altar to the Lord. This is a sign of repentance and the will to turn away from evil and want to be at peace with God. Likewise, the Lord asks that if we want to approach Him, we must obey His commandments and willingly offer our lives as a sacrifice as a freewill offering to give up our own desires and ask the Lord to forgive us.

Fourth, from this offering we see another very important act: the sprinkling of blood on the people. This act is supremely important because it symbolizes the forgiveness of sins and a new life. Let us remember how the people were delivered from death when they lived in Egypt, putting blood on the doors of their homes. Today we can be sprinkled with the blood of Jesus that cleanses all sin!
When we go down into the waters of baptism and are baptized by a minister of the Lord in the Name of Jesus Christ, the blood of Jesus washes our souls and we are set apart to be a holy people for God! Thus we will have access to the presence of the Lord and have communion with Him.
Let's read the vision that the apostle John had of the events that are to take place in heaven in
Revelation 7:13-15: “Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?” And I said to him, “Sir, you know.” So he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them.”

Lastly, notice in verse 9 that they saw a manifestation of the invisible God! The ground where God was was a pure blue color! In addition, they ate in the presence of God, a sign that God was pleased with them, since they were cleansed with the blood of the sacrifice and were enjoying intimate communion with God.
Proverbs 3:32 says: “For the perverse person is an abomination to the Lord, but His secret counsel is with the upright.”
