On Sunday, pastor Candace encouraged us to continue to grow, mature, and expand as disciples of Jesus. She challenged us, by asking if: Loving God and loving people are mutually exclusive or if we are capable of being people of deep conviction while also being able to hold space for others?

At Studio, we aim to be a multi dimensional community, (ethnically, culturally, and generationally) who live surrendered to God, and gather around the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. To do life with people that are different from us is our dream and we also acknowledge that it requires more of us. We need more of God’s love and to grow in:

• Humility (Having an appropriate relationship with our opinion - Jim McNeish)

• Curiosity of other people

• The ability to triangulate truth (value others perspectives to get to a more whole picture)

Let us continue to grow in our love and conviction for the Lord, as we grow in our love for humanity.
