In this episode, you will hear an Initial Session for the 8 Dimensions of Wellness.
Over the next 6 weeks, you will hear me coach a Client for a 6 week coaching container from start to finish so that you can learn more about how to use coaching to deliver an actual experience.
An Initial Session is where we clarify the agreement, collaborate on structure and start to cultivate trust and safety for the over-arching coaching container.
We will be using the 8 Dimensions of Wellness created by SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration). Check out the workbook here.

Katrina Hunt is a mother of two, award-winning professional school counselor, certified holistic life coach, registered trainer, and the award-winning author of Penelope Embraces Her Uniqueness. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication, a Master’s degree in Special Education, a second Master’s degree in School Counseling, and a Principal’s Certification. She is also skilled in Social Emotional Learning, Mindfulness, Self-Care and Stress Management.
As a school counselor and student support coordinator, she has worked with various organizations, student groups, parents, teachers, and administrators to help teach awareness about good character traits, positive social skills, and academic, career, social/emotional awareness, self-care and stress management.
She enjoys reading, journaling, genealogy research, listening to jazz music, time in nature, and spending quality time with her family and friends. She realizes that organizations, students, and their families face many challenges in today’s world, and it is her daily pleasure to encourage, teach, coach, and guide them toward positive solutions and helpful resources to support their growth and needs.

Beverly Sartain is the President of the Holistic Coach Training Institute, where she trains aspiring coaches on coaching skills and business set-up. The Holistic Coach Certification Program is an ICF ACSTH accredited program that focuses on a holistic approach to coaching. We see Clients as whole, complete and resourceful to create creative solutions to their challenges and issues. Additionally, Beverly provides individual and group coaching through her brand, Recovery Life Management. She received her B.S. from the University of Florida and an M.A. from the University of Santa Monica. During her ten-year career in nonprofits, she managed and developed domestic violence and co-occurring residential programs. Beverly is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She has her PCC (Professional Certified Coach) from the ICF. Beverly enjoys helping professionals empower themselves around their skill set and online coaching business.
