Heather transitioned from a high-stress career in broadcast journalism to a career in yoga.  She discusses how she was able to take her outer persona and work on transforming and healing her inner self to match, by learning to love and embrace her body and her struggles.

Heather believes in "showing up as you are," plus-size acceptance, how any body, gender, or age can be a yoga body, how pranayama ( breathing) helped her tackle anxiety, and what "yin" yoga is all about and how it helped heal a serious injury.  She shares insights from working with students of all ages and body types, and how she is working to show people that yoga really is for anyone who has the desire to learn.

James “Jack” Lyons-Weiler, PhD is a Pittsburgh-area scientist, lecturer, and author, who has worked collaboratively for over twenty years on over one hundred research studies. After conducting research in Amazonia on prehistorical shifts in climate change, he focused on questions of how to best understand evolutionary biology, and to questions on the origins of biological diversity.

Thanks to a Sloan Foundation fellowship, he was then able to shift focus to biomedical problems in cancer, diabetes, heart disease, infectious disease and many other aspects of clinical, biomedical and translational research. To provide a lasting monument to his mother, and to help others share advances in cancer research, he served as the Founding Editor-in-Chief of the open access, peer-reviewed research journal Cancer Informatics (Libertas Academica).

An expert in study design, complex data analysis, genetics and systems biology, he has written three books: “Ebola: An Evolving Story” (2015), “Cures vs. Profits: Successes in Translational Research” (2016), and “The Environmental and Genetic Causes of Autism” (2016). For “Causes”, he reviewed over 3,000 research studies, and he cited >2,000 in the final product. He is currently CEO/Director of The Institute for Pure and Applied Knowledge, which conducts research without profit motive to “Reduce Human Pain and Suffering Through Knowledge.”

Episode 56: Using Intuition with Jennifer Rozevink

Why reinvent the wheel?  This really sums up our conversation very well! -Rose

The biggest question to date has been, what do you do? What is Energy Consulting? Well, it’s a lot of things. Because absolutely EVERYTHING is energy. 

What I can do, is observe energy. I can feel energy in my being. I listen and talk to energy. I witness the energetic sum of an experience, a moment of time, from ANY time. I communicate with what is all present in that moment. 

So, what all forms of energy do I interact with to be more specific? The client! If asked to, I can see what is going on energetically in and around one’s being. Deceased and living loved ones, if they are willing. Pets and animals, if they are willing. Nature, trees, plants, insects the land your home is on. The beings that live and stay on the land. Angels, and all forms of divine guidance from all places. Seemingly innate objects such as belongings or furniture. And yes, things that don’t seem so loving or nice. However, I absolutely handle everything with love.

I do this with the goal of moving everything and everyone in that moment closer to being whole, closer to being understood, closer to a new experience, closer to peace and harmony, closer to love and light.
