The spring of 2011 was starting to warm up the rural west Tennessee community of Decatur County. 20 year old Holly Bobo was in a serious relationship, lived at home with her loving family, and was studying to become a nurse.
On the morning of April 13, Holly woke before dawn to get some last minute studying done. She said goodbye to both her mother and father as they each left for work. She then eventually gathered her backpack and lunch and headed out the door, never to be seen again.
Her sleeping brother, Clint, was woken by Holly's dog barking relentlessly. Stumbling through the home and peeking out windows, Clint heard Holly crying, and saw two figures in the carport. He then saw Holly with a man heading into the woods.
But miscommunication and misunderstanding prevailed that morning. Clint had no idea that he was witnessing his sister's abduction in real time. Years later, a series of charges were brought about. Convictions were made. Charges were dropped. Stories were changed. Counsel was admittedly ineffective. And the one man not convicted? A documented stalker, and more importantly, a sexual deviant, that lived not far away. His alibi doesn't hold up. DNA, cadaver dogs, and cell phone tracking - oh my.Join Andrea Up Late and Brian Sanders as they dissect this case from start to finish. Maybe bring a pencil to keep track of the madness.
