NBCUniversal will pay $6.4 million to settle a lawsuit with former Saturday Night Live interns who claim the network violated labor laws. Other intern-related lawsuits with media companies like Fox, Sony and Warner Bros. are still pending.

One day after HBO announced they will start to offer an online subscription streaming service that will not require a cable package, CBS came out with some news of their own. Streaming service "CBS All Access" is the first foray by a traditional broadcaster into the world of offering a live feed over the web via subscription.

Resolution, the fledgling talent agency founded by Jeff Berg, will cease operations. The agency lacked major stars and the television packaging fees, making it tough to keep up with more established competitors.
