HOLOSKY PODCAST

In this episode of Fortean 50, we explore some of the strangest paranormal stories from the state of Georgia. From the mysterious Oogles of Tallulah Gorge—tiny humanoid beings said to guard the waterfalls—to a chilling eyewitness sighting of the Georgia Raptor, a creature resembling a living dinosaur in the woods.

We also investigate disturbing discoveries along the Chattahoochee River, where headless goats have repeatedly been found floating downstream, raising questions about ritual sacrifice and unexplained activity.

Plus: alien contact claims from a Georgia child, the terrifying encounter with the Georgia Cackler, and the mystery of a cargo plane that took off during the Atlanta airport blackout—fueling speculation involving secret cargo and the prophetic Red Heifer of Israel.

From cryptids and aliens to folklore and conspiracy, Georgia holds more unexplained mysteries than most people realize.

The Hitchhiker Effect is one of the most unsettling claims connected to Skinwalker Ranch — the idea that paranormal activity doesn’t stay at the ranch… it follows investigators home.

In this episode, we examine government-linked cases tied to AAWSAP, including reports from personnel connected to National Institute for Discovery Science and the Defense Intelligence Agency. Based on accounts detailed in Hunt for the Skinwalker and Skinwalkers at the Pentagon, families described shadow figures in hallways, poltergeist disturbances, electronic malfunctions, and large wolf-like entities appearing near their homes after exposure to ranch investigations.

We break down the Axelrod case, the Witt family experiences, and the Kelleher household reports, analyzing the repeating pattern: exposure, escalation, multi-witness events, and gradual decline.

Is the Hitchhiker Effect evidence of a transferable phenomenon, a psychological contagion, or something else entirely? Explore one of the most controversial aspects of modern UFO research.

In this episode, we step away from military rumors and dive into the historical and mythological roots of the Leopard Men — figures described not simply as killers, but as boundary enforcers believed to carry the authority of the forest itself.

As colonial powers expanded into Africa, spiritual explanations for death and judgment were reframed into criminal conspiracies known as the “Leopard Societies.” Ritual medicine, symbolic violence, and cultural fear collided with Western legal systems, creating one of the most misunderstood chapters of jungle lore.

But what happens when humans don’t just fear the hunter…

what happens when they try to become it?

This episode explores:

• The transformation of Leopard Men from liminal beings to secret societies
• Colonial reinterpretation and the criminalization of myth
• Ritual medicine, identity, and the psychology of embodiment
• The body as message — display killings as communication
• The archetype of the unseen jungle hunter and its connection to Predator

This isn’t about proving monsters exist.

It’s about understanding why the same hunter keeps appearing — across cultures, across history, and deep inside the human imagination.

What if Predator wasn’t just science fiction?

Before the movie, before Hollywood, and long before modern conspiracy theories, stories of unseen hunters were already being told deep inside the world’s jungles. Warriors found skinned and displayed. Witnesses describing lights in the canopy. Villagers speaking of beings that watched without being seen.

Before Predator is an investigative paranormal series exploring the strange intersection between military rumor, ancient folklore, and the enduring myth of the ultimate jungle hunter.

Beginning with the legend of the Leopard Men of West and Central Africa — figures believed to cross the boundary between human and animal — the series examines how older wilderness traditions may have shaped modern ideas of invisible predators, ritual hunters, and liminal entities that exist at the edge of human understanding.

This isn’t about proving monsters exist.

It’s about asking why the same stories keep appearing across cultures, wars, and generations — and what happens when those stories follow us into modern battlefields.

Because sometimes the most terrifying idea isn’t that Predator was real.

It’s that Predator was never new.

In this episode, we explore the disturbing and little-known Stella Lansing Orb Case, a chilling paranormal encounter involving intelligent glowing orbs, altered states of consciousness, and unexplained physical phenomena.

Beginning in the late 1960s and early 1970s, Stella Lansing reported a series of close-range encounters with luminous spheres that appeared inside her home, passed through solid walls, and seemed to interact with her on a mental and emotional level. During several encounters, Lansing claimed she could see humanoid figures — described as men — within the orb itself, observing her from inside the glowing sphere.

Unlike traditional UFO sightings, these objects showed no visible structure, no sound, and no apparent propulsion — behaving more like living plasma or conscious energy than mechanical craft.

Researchers and witnesses have linked the case to:

    •    UFO and UAP orb encounters

    •    Paranormal light entities

    •    Humanoid and non-human intelligence sightings

    •    Consciousness-based phenomena

    •    Psychic and electromagnetic effects

Often overlooked in mainstream UFO history, the Stella Lansing case predates the modern obsession with orb phenomena and raises unsettling questions that remain unanswered today.

If you’re fascinated by UFO cases, paranormal encounters, non-human intelligence, and high strangeness, this episode dives deep into one of the most unsettling orb encounters on record.

This show explores the shadow space where true crime, government experimentation, ritual psychology, and the occult quietly intersect. Using the Charles Manson case as a central thread, we examine alternative explanations that have long been dismissed or pushed aside — not to sensationalize violence, but to understand the mechanisms beneath it.

From MKUltra and psychological warfare to ritual initiation, belief systems, and cultural shock events, this series treats madness not as an endpoint, but as a clue. We ask uncomfortable questions about power, conditioning, identity, and the ancient techniques of control that still operate beneath modern institutions.

This is not a show about proving anything.

It’s a show about what was taken seriously enough to study — and what happens when it escapes containment.
