These are hard topics to discuss but the hope is to open a conversations about these to feel less shame and awkwardness and produce fruitful conversation.

Hanna Ward is the host of Say What? Podcast! After she got married, marriage and sex was the actual opposite of what she expected it to be, and she felt so alone. So, naturally she started the say what? podcast to talk about the real and tough parts of marriage and sex! The say what? podcast helps Christian women overcome toxic purity culture, become confident in their sex lives, and helps women feel less alone. They talk a lot about painful sex and sex education! She currently lives in Colorado with her husband and dog, and she's the most enneagram 2 human you will ever meet!

It's about time Christians started talking about sex without a shame narrative! In today's episode Emma and Lydia discuss the overarching topic of sex. Why was sex created, what does sex do, are consummation and commencement the same thing...., and ultimately what God's purpose of sex is. This is the first episode of our sex season so we hope you enjoy the initial episode overlooking sex before we dive into ALL the other parts of sex.

Welcome to our introduction episode of Holy Ship! We are so excited you're joining us. We are by no means experts in relationships, but something we wished we had growing up was the space in which to have meaningful, Christ-centered discussions surrounding various topics on maintaining relationships.

We will be covering all the topics surrounding relationships, not shying away from the awkward and uncomfortable topics. This is our way of opening a dialogue that many Christians, especially within church, tend to avoid. Because we are women discussions will be oriented for a female audience, but we believe many principals discussed apply to all.
